Roxy is an absolute sweetheart!!! She's had a rough past, but now safe, loved and fully vetted! Poor Roxy had to have surgery, when we brought her into rescue. due to being full of fabric, and unable to eat, or go potty and emaciated). She's has now recovered from surgery and received the "all clear" from the vet! Roxy currently weighs around 45 pounds, though she will most likely weigh between 50-60, when she reaches her optimum weight. She is good with kids, but does not care for babies/toddlers crawling towards her, or crawling over her legs, etc., so she needs to be in a home with older children. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs, and gets along very well with them, and we feel she would benefit from having another fur baby in her forever home, for companionship. Roxy is house broken, walks well on a leash, rides great in a car, and loves everyone she meets! She truly is a big sweetheart, cuddler, and love bug! Piper is being fostered in PA. Piper is a gentle and quiet little guy who is fairly new to his foster home (January 2025). He can be found napping and usually changes beds so he makes it like a game of hide and seek to check on him. Piper is a bit skittish as far as being handled, especially with his head and face. He seems as though he's not been cuddled in a long time or else he is very timid in his new setting away from his original owner. He will take some time to learn to trust people and not pull away. If he is not being held, he does enjoy pets and scratches on his head and body, just not when being held. He is very good at finding his way around his foster home and will investigate or will follow his foster mom when it's meal time. There are also times he needs to be awakened from a deep sleep to eat. Piper is still adjusting to his new life. The first few days he would need his bedding changed about every 12 hours because he would mess in it but that has decreased to a very occasional poo on his bla
