Story
This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. If you are interested in our sweet Roman please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. You will also find the link to submit the application. His adoption fee is $325 and if he has to be transported from TN where he is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
***FENCED YARD REQUIRED******Local Adoptions Only at this Time***What a sweet boy Brownie is!!! And as you can see, he is very handsome with his dark shade of chocolate! This loving boy came to us in terrible condition; he was very overdue for a haircut and very underweight. His hair was matted in many places and was just so long. The hair on his face covered his eyes making it difficult for him to see where he was going! So, someone pulled up that hair and put it in a ponytail so he could see. But Brownie has been groomed and looks amazing! Right now he weighs only 40 pounds, but we're putting weight on him. He is just an all around great boy!Brownie's date of birth is 1/30/2023.All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian• Up to date on all vaccinations.• Spayed/Neutered• Microchipped• 30-day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.)• 30-day money back guaranteeOur goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. (We do not accept invisible fences.)• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3 month heartworm prevention• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibilityNote: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). Story
Update: Blossom: A Fashionable Friend Meet Blossom, a stunning Standard Poodle looking for her forever home! With her fluffy white coat and elegant demeanor, she's a true head-turner. Blossom loves to dress up and is often seen sporting a colorful scarf or a stylish bandana. She's a gentle soul who enjoys walks, playtime, and cuddling on the couch. If you're searching for a loyal and affectionate companion with a flair for fashion, Blossom is the perfect match for you! Blossom was an owner surrender due to the owners health. She is a shy girl with a few insecurities. But very easy laid back dog. Walks well on a leash, calm and caring once she knows you care about her. She has a few fur issues due to her mixed breeding. Her ears have more hair growing inside them than usual, cause her some ear problems. She must be taken to the groomer frequently to have hair pulled out from inside them so they will stay clean. Also her fur coat requires frequent grooming and her face must be shaved clean or your going to have food and water stuck around the hair on her mouth and nose. She needs someone who can afford her frequently grooming trips and needs.
