Story
Meet Archie! Archie is a 4 year old, 50 pound poodle who has found himself needing a new home at no fault of his own! He is a quirky little guy who starts out nervous until he trusts you! It take time to earn his trust, but after nervously keeping his distance at first, he becomes your shadow. He does take longer to trust men. He is great and protective over children. He also loves other dogs! He loves carrots (yes, full size carrots!). He is a cuddle bug, too! He is house trained, kennel trained and knows some tricks! If you are interested in Archie, you must have a fenced in yard. If you would like to add Archie to your forever home, simply go to goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Story
Loki is a 3 year old former stud I bought from a not so reputable breeder. Loki is a terrific, loving dog one on one, but has a difficult time getting on with other animals, especially smaller ones. He thinks of our cat as prey, rather than a sibling. He has a brother whom he gets along with, but he does not like dogs outside our home. Loki would excel as a lone dog in an active home. He is very suspicious of men, likely due to past trauma. While we have tried with him for nearly 2 years, keeping him has become unfair to our other pets. Loki deserves a good home.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Haley, our delightful 1 year old Labradoodle with boundless energy, a zest for life and a heart full of love. Weighing about 40 pounds, this affectionate and high-energy pup is always ready for a new adventure. Haley's intelligence and eagerness to please make her ready for training. She has already mastered commands like "sit," "paw," and "stay," and is working on "drop it." Her food-motivated nature makes her a quick learner. Given her poodle heritage, regular grooming will keep her looking her best, and her soft, curly fur hardly sheds. She loves chasing balls, romping with other dogs, and going on walks (but she would rather run). While Haley can be a bit enthusiastic pulling on the leash, she listens well and sits patiently when it's time for a break. Haley is crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate, and is housetrained.  This playful pup is great with other dogs and friendly towards strangers, though she might need a gentle reminder not to jump in her excitement. Haley would thrive in an active home with a family who can match her high energy level and continue her training. A fenced yard for her to run and play would be ideal. If you're looking for a smart, loving, and active companion, Haley is ready to bring joy and endless playfulness into your home. Adopt Haley and let the adventures begin!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 16, 2024, 11:39 am

Story
Hi there! My name is Gypsy, and I'm a sweet and loving Goldendoodle who's ready to find my forever family! I absolutely adore every person I meet—seriously, I’m all about making new friends and showering them with love. While I get along great with humans, I’d prefer to be the only pet in my home. I’m still learning how to socialize with other dogs, and the staff here is helping me work on that. I do tend to resource guard my food around other animals, so I think I’d be happiest in an adult-only home where I can be the center of attention (as I deserve!). I’m also a big fan of adventure! Whether it’s long walks, hikes, runs, or even traveling, I’m all in! I’d love to go on exciting outings with you and explore the world together. I'm a very sweet girl with a lot of love to give, and I can’t wait to find someone to share my life and adventures with! Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving end of Feb/beginning of March 2025 to PA. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Alexander to our trip for the right home 💙 Meet Alexander! He is a purebred, red colored, 6 month old Standard Poodle. He weighs 33 lbs and is at a very healthy weight. He is estimated to be between 50-60 lbs full grown 💙 He is current on all vaccines, and has received every puppy vaccine. At the time of his exam on 12/3/24 he will receive his 1 year da2pp, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines as well! He had a fecal test sent in to the lab and has been dewormed through our vet based on those results. He will also be microchipped, will go home with a health certificate, and will be completely cleared by our vet prior to adoption ☺️ No, he isn't neutered, as he is much to young and it's best for his growth plates to fully close prior to sterilization so he will be going home with a neuter contract ♥️ He is crate trained, and sleeps in his crate at night or to nap in during the day which he doesn't mind one bit. He hangs out in our home throughout the day, and loves to be a part of all we do whether we are just hanging out, watching tv, cooking dinner (he is always praying something falls his way 😂,) or working on the computer. He loves his toys and will quietly lounge by entertaining himself while his humans tend to their responsibilities. Leash training is going really well, and he is learning to love his walks. He really enjoys investigating everything he can, so it makes walks very enjoyable for him and us because he really tries not to miss a thing (or human 🙂) which encourages us to engage with just about everyone and everything he can convince us to stop for so expect to meet a few new friends along the way because Alexander will definitely make sure of it if you allow him to lead the way 🥰 He is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom throughout the day when asked to. He doesn't have any accidents in the house, or in his crate so as long as you have a good scheduled routine in your home for him he will continue to thrive! He loves to play outdoors, and while he really enjoys lounging poolside, playing with one of his fave outdoor toys, or just simply sunbathing he will drop it all the moment you come out to enjoy the day with him because pets from his human is the most enjoyable part of his day. He loves to be loved so if you are looking for a sweet boy whose eyes light up the second he knows he gets to hang with you then he is YOUR guy 💙 He is wonderful with all dogs and cats alike! He has a sweet soul, and a kind heart. He is calm, and beautifully natured and simply believes he was placed on earth to becomes everyone's friend!! He is not high energy, and has a beautiful on and off switch so don't allow his age to be a deciding factor as he truly is easy to please ☺️ He LOVES road trips of any length, and will happily go for a ride with you. He lounges in the back seat just happy to be a part of your activities outside of the home. He LOVES our groomer, and does phenomenal during his spa days. He is just an all around easy going, laid back, lovely boy 💕 He came in with his sister (her name is Anastasia and yes, she is available for adoption too so make sure to look out for her adoption listing as she is equally wonderful ❤ ️) from a family who bought both from their breeder when they were 8 weeks old. They decided on two of them so they could keep one another company as they grew up. Unfortunately they realized with their work schedules, and extensive traveling that having two young pups wasn't the best decision they made, and admitted they didn't think it through the way they should have so they reached out to us to take them in and find them the homes they deserve. No, they do not need to be adopted together (unless you are looking for two of course ☺️.) They are very independently confident outside of one another so we are certain they will thrive separately ❤️ Adoption fee is on our website under his adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/alexander It covers his vet costs, care associated with the time he has been with us, his grooming costs, and his training we have personally done with him. Travel costs are in addition to his adoption fee if we are transporting him to you pending where you are located. (Which we will happily do for the right family!)
