You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DAISY was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 24th September. We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. Daisy is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of June 2024 and on 20th September weighed 20 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. She does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. DAISY is available for an adoption fee of $550 Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. She was a rescue dog, kept with her two male siblings and was extremely timid as they bullied her. She’s come out of her shell here with us and my dogs and is doing fantastic. All of my dogs sleep in the room at night so they are house trained. She’s fantastic with kids and cats but a little shy at first. She was not socialized much for her first year of life. Her hair is wary rather curly so she is a no shed dog, but not curly which is good because wary hair does not mat and needs very little Grooming. We are located in Harrison, Arkansas, but the adoption fee does cover the transport to your location. This handsome Standard Poodle is a rare offering due to his extreme calm gentile personality and medium energythat is complimented by his endearing personality of love. Our boy's name is BJ and he is 4 to 5 years old and weighs 50 lb. This loving boy was found running has a stray and very very thin and very very matted. He ended up in a super small town shelter in a super small cage. We got him out because we saw such potential in him and such a need for a true second chance. We shaved him down, we got him neutered and fully vetted and also fixed his eyelids that were having the eyelashes grow inward. It's called entropion eyelid surgery and it was truly what he needed to have a comfortable life. He is healed up and he is ready to be your very own heartthrob. He is housebroken, crate train, good on a leash, fabulous with cats and other dogs. This boy is such a good catch for a Doodle. None of the typical problems of no manners and wild and wide open with energy. He is totally the opposite. Only wants to do is be your shadow, be your devoted companion and have a part of your life and your heart. Willow is very energetic and playful. We adopted her when she was about 7 months old. The original owner is a nurse, and she has very busy schedules. Willow spent her early puppy life mostly in the crate until we adopted her. Willow is crate and house trained. She has a very good temperament. We love her, but my 1 year old son has developed a bad allergy since we have her including myself. We are sad that we have to rehome her. We are hoping to find a new home and a new owner who loves her as much as we do.
