Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.A year old Doberman PoodleSue is a very sweet Doberman and poodle mix pup. She’s about a year old. She was a rescue dog, kept with her two male siblings and was extremely timid as they bullied her. She’s come out of her shell here with us and my dogs and is doing fantastic. All of my dogs sleep in the room at night so they are house trained. She’s fantastic with kids and cats but a little shy at first. She was not socialized much for her first year of life. Her hair is wary rather curly so she is a no shed dog, but not curly which is good because wary hair does not mat and needs very little Grooming. We are located in Harrison, Arkansas, but the adoption fee does cover the transport to your location. I have a Facebook page where you can see lots of videos of Sue so don’t let distance be a deterrent.November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
Lucky is 5 years old. We got him when he was little so our female poodle could have a friend. He has never bitten our kids but has growled at them a few times when they bothered him. He once bit another dog at the park that sniffed him. He is a good dog and friendly, just not so much with some certain male dogs. He is somewhat trained and won’t pee in the house. Walks well on the leash but need caution with other dogs. My kids don’t want me to rehome him but I have a toddler and don’t want risk any accidents. With proper training, he could perhaps behave well around other dogs

He is great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another friendly dog as he is a bit nervous and understands what people are saying when there is a dog around to translate. When Guapo came into rescue, he had never been groomed before . He was such a good and patient boy while we shaved off his matted and filthy fur. He is a gentle and graceful boy who needs to put on some pounds as food seems to have been scarce where he was living. Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966Available 11/2/2024 Originated fromMaggie Society DL# 16405Wilson NC 27893 Bonito is a XL Standard poodle weighing in at approximately 80 lbs. He was the first male in a hoarding situation and came into rescue after a family member was able to step in and get some of the dogs out. Bonito and the first female spent their life outside in NC in a small pen with their children. Bonito had 7 lbs of caked on matted on hair that had never been groomed. He was so excited when he was able to actually feel his skin again when he scratched himself. Bonito is a very calm and sweet boy with a very stable personality. He is not a submissive dog. He calmly lets the other dogs he interact with know that he is in charge and none of the dogs in his foster home have even questioned his status. Bonito walks well on leash and has picked up house manners very quickly as he really thinks being inside of a house is awesome. He has quickly learned to like the finer things in life: enough food everyday, a bed to sleep on, being groomed and getting lots of love and affection.   Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.

Story
This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. If you are interested in our sweet Roman please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. You will also find the link to submit the application. His adoption fee is $325 and if he has to be transported from TN where he is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 fee.
