Story
Bailey is a 14-year-old mixed breed (pekapoo). He's black and white in color. Bailey was bought from a breeder at 8 weeks old. He's a sweet dog and likes to be by your side and sleep alongside with you. Bailey is spoiled- he loves chicken & rice and is always ready to eat. Bailey also eat Blue Diamond dry and wet food. He does have a fear of the vet & groomers, so he needs special attention in that area. Bailey has arthritis and allergies, so he needs medication to help during the allergy seasons. He's neuter and house trained. Bailey would be a great dog for someone who stays at home, and he loves children. If you're looking for a sweet dog that just want to be loved and fed Bailey is for you!

Story
This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. If you are interested in our sweet Roman please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. You will also find the link to submit the application. His adoption fee is $325 and if he has to be transported from TN where he is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700.00 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Gigi, a gorgeous, female, silver standard poodle, was rescued from a local shelter on 11/6/23, and her age was guesstimated to be about a year and a half. She weighed 41.4 pounds and was a little thin. While her coat wasn’t terrible, hair completely covered her beautiful eyes so that you couldn’t see them. After being brought up to date on vaccinations, she was groomed and it was easy to see what a gorgeous girl she is and her sweetness is every bit as spectacular as her looks. The groomer said that as she gets older her color will lighten to the color of her face, which was a beautiful silver color. The groomer said she is what is called a silver poodle. At the shelter they said she was good with everybody, dogs, cats, and people, and that definitely seems to be the case. She rides well in the car and in fact, she seems to love to ride in the car. She walks well on a leash and has not had any accidents in her foster mom’s house. She is an all-round super sweet girl. She is microchipped and was scheduled to be spayed on 11/16/23 but after her tummy upset continued and was not responding to meds the vet gave her, she became extremely ill and had to be hospitalized for 8 days. All tests came back negative, but she began to get better with the administration of Prednisone which led our vet to believe she might have Addison’s. She was rail thin when she was released back to the care of her foster mom. Our vet wanted her to weigh 50 pounds before she was spayed. She finally gained the weight and was spayed and tested heartworm negative on 3/12/24. Her daily dosage of prednisone was slowly decreased to 5 mg every other day, by the end of March and she is doing fantastic. We feel she is ready to find her forever home. Gigi is located in Arkansas and her foster mom thinks she is the best. The adoption donation for Gigi is $800 plus the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Gigi, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here.
