Story
Meet Moxie, a sweet and spunky girl with a heart full of love. Moxie came to Dog Tales after her previous family became overwhelmed by her medical needs. Unfortunately, Moxie has a neurological disorder that we’re currently investigating with the help of a fantastic neurologist. Early tests and imaging suggest an issue with her peripheral nerves, specifically the femoral nerve. Despite the challenges she faces, Moxie’s zest for life is undeniable. She adores going for walks and enjoys the company of everyone she meets! Due to her condition, Moxie needs some assistance with walking and can only manage short distances on her own. But she absolutely loves cruising around in her stroller, getting pets, and exploring the world at her own pace. Could Moxie be the perfect strolling companion for you?

Story
Coco is a sweet and affectionate male poodle with a warm and loving personality. At 4 years old, he’s experienced a bit of a rough patch after his previous owner had a child and could no longer care for him. Sadly, Coco was abandoned, but thanks to his time spent with people, he has adjusted wonderfully to new environments. He is quick to open his heart to strangers and gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy-going companion. Currently residing at a training facility, Coco has shown progress with his potty habits. While it’s not entirely clear how well he’s house-trained, he naturally used a pee pad when provided, which suggests he is learning quickly. As a male dog, he has marked once or twice, so some additional potty training may be needed in his new home, and occasional accidents can be expected early on. Coco is not fond of being confined and showed signs of distress when moved to a kennel, so it’s important to make sure he has a comfortable, open space in his new home. He does well in the car, traveling without issue, and he enjoys showering his humans with affection. Although Coco may experience some separation anxiety, he rarely barks and is not particularly sensitive to noise. On walks, he tends to pull a bit on the leash but generally follows along nicely. With his kind and loving nature, Coco is expected to adapt quickly to a new family. His warmth and charming personality will surely bring joy to any household lucky enough to welcome him!

Story
Yeondu is a unique poodle who values interaction with humans. Poodles are generally friendly and social, but yeondu especially prefers interaction with people. Yeondu finds comfort In bonding with people and an environment where he can always be around people would be best suited for him. He has a personality that reacts sensitively to noise, but he is also smart enough to respond immediately to instructions to stop barking which shows his intelligent nature and adaptability to training, Yeondu can get along well with other dogs of similar size but he much prefers the company of humans. Although he plays well with other dogs of similar size, he also shows signs of adjusting to his environment by controlling is own pace in the process. When taking a walk, he may occasionally pull on the leash but this is usually done in a `moment of excitement. Afterwards, he soon calms down and starts walking slowly. This is a natural way for him to release his energy. Yeondu, who is currently 7 years old, is in good health and he recently had teeth cleaning as well. If you have a good understanding of the personality of poodles, then Yeondu would be the perfect dog for you because yeondu is more than just a poodle, he is ready to be a family member. Yeondu can enjoy a happier life through deep bonds with people and will shine even brighter in an environment where he can grow while receiving love and attention. Your time with Yeonju will definitely be a valuable experience. To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEuMiuW6Ww6_M6uBAS7hU7RgIBxsffTr

Story
Thank you for your interest in Hubert. He is such a fun loving, energetic, happy, barky boy. He loves people and dogs and life. Some of it he loves a little too much. Well, not too much for him but too much for other dogs. But he is really just a softee who wants to run and play and be chased. Running, bouncing, barking, playing, snuggling, hugging, what could be better?

Story
Oh, Boomer, you are a love and a frustration all rolled into one beautiful package. Boomer was sold to a family with young children during Covid and that meant he had a lot of people home all the time and didn't get much of the socialization he should have received. He did get a lot of company at home though! Unfortunately the young boy in the family fell ill, they needed to move and were unable to bring Boomer with them. That's how he came into our care. We've been taking out time getting to know him because as much as he is a lovely boy, he has his struggles too.
