Meet Vivienne Loves Kids! Vivienne is believed to be a Shepherd mix (possibly Australian Shepard mixed with something else) and is approximately 6 months old. She has the sweetest personality, is loving,, cuddly and so playful! Her foster family says she and her siblings are amazing pups! . Vivienne loves all people including children and other dogs! She can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. Carter is very smart and eager to learn! She is learning her manners and basic commands and is potty, trained, and crate trained! Vivienne loves her toys and bones and especially loves playing outside! Because Vivienne absolutely loves other dogs, we would like to see her go to a family with at least one other dog! We adopted Thelma a month ago, and she just is not a good fit for our family. She is super sweet, but doesnt mesh well with other animals. I adopted her from a breeder, who was got to use to go breed, but decided against it.

This sweet 6+ gal found her way to SAAP after her own surrendered her at a shelter due to going to assisted living.  She’s about 55 pounds.     She had some teeth removed and it was discovered she has a heart condition herself. The heart condition is Dilated Cardiomyopathy.  It requires 2x daily medication with her food.  She has no problem taking it but it is something she will need for the rest of her life.   She has the sweetest temperament and loves to love on you.   She walks great on a leash and does well with my resident dogs.   I don’t know about cat’s because we don’t have any.  She runs about happily and can curl up in the funniest positions.  She’s a hoot!    I think she would do best with a fenced yard or access to a secured area to be unleashed for her potty breaks (dog park ect).  In the months we have had her,  she doesn’t potty on our walks.   She always goes when we get back to the fenced yard.    Please consider giving this girl a home - she will give you endless cuddles, laughs and love:).      November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Mr. Ruger is the most adorable doodle I’ve ever seen! He has the perfect markings and is the perfect doodle size. He has the long poodle legs and is incredibly smart!  Ruger is crate trained and house trained. He has not had one accident in our house and has slept out of the crate since night number two with us.  He gets along great with kids and dogs. He wants to play all day long! Having another dog who enjoys rough housing in the yard or being with a very active family would be best for him.  We are currently working on some basic obedience- sit, stay, lay down. He also has proven to steal some snacks off the counter so we are working to teach him to not sneak food that isn’t his.  He is the sweetest boy and has such a funny personality.
