This handsome Standard Poodle is a rare offering due to his extreme calm gentile personality and medium energythat is complimented by his endearing personality of love. Our boy's name is BJ and he is 4 to 5 years old and weighs 50 lb. This loving boy was found running has a stray and very very thin and very very matted. He ended up in a super small town shelter in a super small cage. We got him out because we saw such potential in him and such a need for a true second chance. We shaved him down, we got him neutered and fully vetted and also fixed his eyelids that were having the eyelashes grow inward. It's called entropion eyelid surgery and it was truly what he needed to have a comfortable life. He is healed up and he is ready to be your very own heartthrob. He is housebroken, crate train, good on a leash, fabulous with cats and other dogs. This boy is such a good catch for a Doodle. None of the typical problems of no manners and wild and wide open with energy. He is totally the opposite. Only wants to do is be your shadow, be your devoted companion and have a part of your life and your heart. She was a rescue dog, kept with her two male siblings and was extremely timid as they bullied her. She’s come out of her shell here with us and my dogs and is doing fantastic. All of my dogs sleep in the room at night so they are house trained. She’s fantastic with kids and cats but a little shy at first. She was not socialized much for her first year of life. Her hair is wary rather curly so she is a no shed dog, but not curly which is good because wary hair does not mat and needs very little Grooming. We are located in Harrison, Arkansas, but the adoption fee does cover the transport to your location. Hello people, my name is Bella and I am a pretty silver& gray Poodle/Schnauzer mix with no-shed silky soft wavy curls, and beautiful big brown eyes. I'm almost 2 years old, weigh 44 lbs, and I was living in San Antonio Texas with my elderly owner who mostly kept me in a crate, and when she could no longer care for me, I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue. These days I’m living in a foster home, having some freedom, having some fun, and making new friends, and I’m ready to find a more appropriate forever home! I am a medium-energy girl, happy and friendly, a little shy when meeting new people, and I’m great with other dogs. I love playtime and running zoomies and I finally have some space to run and playmates to play with, and I’m having a blast burning off some youthful energy. My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart, very affectionate, snuggly, and kissy, and if you don't mind 44 lbs on your lap, then I’m a lap dog, LOL! I’m well-behaved, rarely bark, and housebroken. I’m not in love with being kept in a crate since I ended up spending too much time inside one, but I’ll settle down after a bit of whining and a few barks. Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. Gigi, a gorgeous, female, silver standard poodle, was rescued from a local shelter on 11/6/23, and her age was guesstimated to be about a year and a half. She weighed 41.4 pounds and was a little thin. While her coat wasn’t terrible, hair completely covered her beautiful eyes so that you couldn’t see them. After being brought up to date on vaccinations, she was groomed and it was easy to see what a gorgeous girl she is and her sweetness is every bit as spectacular as her looks. The groomer said that as she gets older her color will lighten to the color of her face, which was a beautiful silver color. The groomer said she is what is called a silver poodle. At the shelter they said she was good with everybody, dogs, cats, and people, and that definitely seems to be the case. She rides well in the car and in fact, she seems to love to ride in the car. She walks well on a leash and has not had any accidents in her foster mom’s house. She is an all-round super sweet girl. She is microchipped and was scheduled to be spayed on 11/16/23 but after her tummy upset continued and was not responding to meds the vet gave her, she became extremely ill and had to be hospitalized for 8 days. All tests came back negative, but she began to get better with the administration of Prednisone which led our vet to believe she might have Addison’s. She was rail thin when she was released back to the care of her foster mom. Our vet wanted her to weigh 50 pounds before she was spayed. She finally gained the weight and was spayed and tested heartworm negative on 3/12/24. Her daily dosage of prednisone was slowly decreased to 5 mg every other day, by the end of March and she is doing fantastic. We feel she is ready to find her forever home. Gigi is located in Arkansas and her foster mom thinks she is the best. The adoption donation for Gigi is $800 plus the $165 transport fee.
