He wears a long grey coat that will need to be groomed every few months in order to help him maintain his good looks! His personality is a delightful blend of sweet and friendly, with a dash of playful energy that keeps him young at heart. Trout loves to cuddle, and his mellow temperament makes him a perfect companion for quiet evenings at home. Trout is a loyal friend who will always be there to offer comfort and companionship. This lovely boy deserves a forever home where he can continue to share his love and joy! He was surrendered by his owners because they wanted to travel. This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. WAFFLES is still recovering but he's full of so much energy and love! It's been one week since Waffles was hospitalized with parvovirus, and we're so relieved to share that he's officially in foster care and doing much better. Waffles is an incredibly energetic, playful, and cuddly pup who will be ready to find his forever home soon, but we still need your help! Waffles’ parvo recovery has been costly, and we're still working hard to raise over $4,000 to cover his vet bills. So far we learned that he's very high energy! Waffles loves to run around, play, and chase toys.He's got a silly personality and is a huge cuddle bug who craves human attention. He’s still learning not to jump on people in excitement but is super friendly with everyone. Waffles is learning the ropes, including basic commands like "sit," "up," and "stay." He enjoys long walks, food (he’s a fan of Taste of the Wild kibble with pumpkin or wet food), and playtime. He’s getting used to his crate, where he naps and sleeps at night. He loves meeting people and gets along well with visitors at home. Unfortunately, he’s still quarantined from other dogs due to parvo, and he hasn’t been around cats or children yet. We’re so grateful for the support and love Waffles has received so far. With your help, we can get him the treatment he needs and find him a loving family. Loki is a 3 year old former stud I bought from a not so reputable breeder. Loki is a terrific,loving dog one on one, but has a difficult time getting on with other animals, especially smaller ones. He thinks of our cat as prey, rather than a sibling. He has a brother whom he gets along with, but he does not like dogs outside our home. Loki would excel as a lone dog in an active home. He is very suspicious of men, likely due to past trauma. While we have tried with him for nearly 2 years, keeping him has become unfair to our other pets. Loki deserves a good home.
