Story
UP-DATE8-25-24 Max no longer wears a belly band, seems completely house and crate trained. He is no longer jumping on us and he is listening better every day. He always sleeps quietly in his crate all night, and if we are gone. He comes out of his crate to go outside so he has a chance to potty and then he likes to come back in. He has not destroyed anything, enjoys his meals and treats, he is very food motivated, which always helps in training. He still has a lot to learn, but he is ready for his forever home and will make a great companion. UPDATE.6-10-2 Max has made great strides since living with us in the house. From never being in a crate to sleeping all night in a crate. He wakes up early, around 6>30 A.M. ready to go out to do his business then come in for breakfast. He has had no accidents in the house, but I do let him out often. He is sweet and loving, wants to be close, in your lap, anywhere close. He is still jumping once in a while but for the most part, he listens when I say NO JUMP and hasn't jumped on me for quite, but I do re-enforce that every time he walks over to me or I let him in. He is good on the grooming table until you get to his feet then he starts resisting, so I just use a scissor on his feet and he is better at that. He loves all my dogs and plays good with them. Max, date of birth, 5-21-2018, is unusually sweet and friendly considering he came from a breeding kennel. He loves to be close and loves attention. He is a bit on the needy side, preferring to be in your lap or laying close by. He isn't a big eater, not food motivated at least not yet. I took him, by request, from an all breed rescuer who bought him at an auction. She just couldn't leave him, so took him, hoping I he could come to my rescue. He is quite beautiful, dark red hair and a good size for a male, not too big, good with my other dogs. Ad Max is doing great with his crate training, starting to go in when I open the door, instead of having to be pushed in, settles down for a nap. I feed my rescue dogs in their crates and he is starting to eat better. He is laying under my computer as I type this, he loves to be close. He loves everyone. Max will make a wonderful companion to an adult or adult couple. He has too much energy to be around children, he is very active and loves to run outside. He is wearing a belly band to assist in his house training. He always does his business outside, but when inside he might lift his leg and I yell his name and say outside to pee and rush him outside. At the door, I remove his belly band before he goes out. Adoption fee $300.00 SERIOUS INQUIRYS ONLY.

Story
Blake, date of birth, 5.09-21, is a gentle and sweet boy, a little on the small side for a male, a little shy at first but a very nice pup when he gets to know you. He isn't really white, more of a cream/apricot. He is good on the grooming table. He gets along with other dogs. He is playful once he gets to know the other dogs. He came from a breeder, probably lived outside but has quickly adapted to house living and is now crate trained. He does wear a belly band at night but has never soiled his belly band, his crate or in the house when he has not had his belly band on. House training is an ongoing process for dogs who have lived out side and in pens most of their life. He is now neutered and vaccinated and is ready to start looking for his forever home. Adoption fee-$400.00 Serious inquiries only.

Story
Chip, date of birth-11-17-17-A beautiful and sweet pup, smart and loving and playful, loves other dogs and does well with them. He was given up by his owner, no reason given. He is mostly house trained, but I don't trust him completely, so he wears a belly band until I know he is completely house trained. He is also doing great in his crate and has not soiled his belly band for the last two weeks and he is now doing great with his crate training and has never soiled in his crate. He is drop dead gorgeous, pretty good on the grooming table and very interested in everything going on around him. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night. Story
Jax, D. of B. 6-02-23, was released to my rescue because she had no yard and could not take care of him the way he deserved. He was tied out to concrete block with his collar way too tight. He is now enjoying playing with the other dogs, running in a big fenced yard and sleeping inside where it is cool/warm in his crate. He is very comfortable sleeping all night in his crate and going out first thing to do his buiness. I never say any dog is house trained because they have to learn the new guardian's home, routine and yard. I do keep a belly band on him at night but he has never soiled or wet in it. He eats like there is no tomorrow, probably not fed well, he only weighed 48 lbs. when he was neutered this past Wednesday. He is on the tall side and very slender at this point in his life. Only 15 months old he has a lot of growing and filling out. He comes when called, prefers to be in the house more than out in the yard, he plays well with the other dogs, but plays rough, so needs a pup that can hold his own with dog play. He is a beautiful dark red with white on his chest. In time the red will lighten some but will still be beautiful. Adoption fee $500.00 Serious inquiries only.

Story
We are in our upper 70's and we have had Hazel for three months. We got her from our granddaughter because she could no longer keep her. Hazel is around 15 months old. She is very playful and is very loving. We have decided to rehome her because we feel she is too much for us. She needs a young person who has the energy to run and play with her. She would do good with a fenced yard which we do not have.
