Story
Momma Marsha came to us with several other poodles, when the breeder shut down. All the others have long since found homes, but sweet Marsha was very pregnant. She had her babes on October 19, and was a fabulous mom right from the start! Martha and her babies have been in a foster home, and have been exposed to dogs of all sizes and ages. Mom weighs 30 pounds and we expect the pups to be around the same. The other adopts from this breeder were all around 30-40 pounds., The pups will be spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccines, and had deworming and de flea treatment. Their adoption fee is $550. The pups have been well socialized, and should be good in almost any environment. Please note this breed DOES have a high cost of ownership and requires regular haircuts. They are a working breed, that will need plenty of mental and physical exercise to thrive. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested (6 months and above,) and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to choose from at the shelter as well. If the pet you fall in love with is not quite ready for adoption, we do offer a $50 hold deposit that will insure you have first "dibs on adoption. Once an animal is available for adoption, we are not able to hold them, as there are so many animals waiting to come into our program. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays. You are welcome to fill out our quick 10 question adoption survey to facilitate a quicker process. This will also start the meeting process for those animals in foster care: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MARQ/Dog

Meet Trixie! She's an adorable and happy chocolate/white poodle mix around 2 years old. She loves other dogs, cats, and people. Today she received some much-needed grooming from Laurel Pet Resort and did very well for what was probably her first groom. If you would like to meet Trixie please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. Trixie is in the KC metro but transport might be available to the right home.
