Mona is a 2-3 year old Standard Poodle. She is about 35 pounds and does have a docked tail. Very sweet girl. She is a smiler when happy or excited. House and crate trained. Good with other dogs.

I am a very loving girl that loves to be with my people. When my people come back home after being gone I flop right over onto my back for belly scratches. I am excellent with other dogs and love to wrestle and do zoomies with my foster siblings both inside and outside! I do also know how to relax and am what some would call a professional sun bather. Foster mom says I am always a glass half full kind of gal- always smiling, always ready to please my human. I am fully potty trained and do well in my crate. I do need a little more help on leash training but I am smart so it shouldn't take too much work. I do get a bit carsick so I will need some practice in that department. If you are looking for a pup who will make you the center of the world I am her! I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P   lease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Hi, my name is Tucker. I am from Arkansas. I am staying temporarily with a family and I LOVE the kids and other dogs I get to play with. I haven't met cats but my energy and interest in small mammals may translate to being a little to interested in cats within my home. From his foster: Tucker is a very sweet dog. He does great with kids and other dogs, and loves to snuggle in your lap! He prefers indoors to outdoors, mainly just wants to be close to people. He will be thrilled to see you when you come home.

Get to know Wilma: Wilma's a simple gal, a southern belle, and currently recovering from a bad injury- she was found outside a "car repair" place.... they didn't know how to repair a puppy so she was taken to the rescue after she was found. It was a really scary and sad situation but for Wilma, it started her REAL life- one of love and eating regularly and having HOPE! She's an absolute cutie with her scruffy ears and few spots on her white coat. She has a pretty smile and loves to wag her tail. The rescue people think Wilma is a Standard Poodle/Sheepdog mix... she has such a wonderful and outgoing personality. She is great with all people she meets and the smile she shares will melt everyone's heart, so be prepared!!! She'll be living a bit more laid back right now as her recovery process progresses. No high energy play or crazy activities. But that won't be for long!!! He is good with other dogs, kids over age 5 (he can do younger i would assume but he will knock them over for sure lol), housetrained, kennel trained, sits on command, & 70+lbs of snuggle. Tux would be perfect for an active family that wants to take him on adventures.  He is active and loves to play.  He will need a fenced in yard or someone willing to take him on walks/runs, as he is young and does have a bit of energy, but what an sweet snuggly boy.    Tux was surrendered locally. Meet Smokey, aka Smoke Show! This sweet senior pup only wants to love and be loved in return. He is a gentle giant who is a little nervous in new situations, but quickly warms up to anyone who will pet him. Smokey is great with our resident dog and our 3 active kids. Smokey has recently learned that dog toys are amazing and loves spending his time chomping on a good bone. He is fully house trained and is a great walking partner. Smokey  doesn't pull on his leash at all. While he would prefer to be close to or snuggling with someone, Smokey does great in his kennel during the day and all night long. He has shown signs of some limited vision, but that doesn't stop him from being the sweetest pup.
