Pancho is a 12-month-old Standard Poodle full of love, energy, and personality. He is a very affectionate and playful dog who loves being around people, getting attention, and playing. He has a lot of energy, so he would do best with an active family or someone who has a fenced yard where he can run and burn off that energy. He is still in the process of learning to go to the bathroom outside, as his previous owner kept him in diapers, so he will need patience and consistency with training. Despite this, Pancho is a wonderful dog with a kind heart who deserves a home where someone has the time to guide him and give him the love he so easily gives. This decision has not been easy, but my goal is to make sure he finds a home where he can receive the attention, time, and life he truly deserves. 🐶💛

The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! I am going to try to groom her this weekend and get better pictures of her but she is an all black dog and those pictures are hard to take and to make them clear.  Her coat is wavy/curly and she does allow you to groom her and she takes a good bath.  GRACIE is a poodle/terrier mix who is 3 years old and 51 pounds. GRACIE's main purpose in life is to play.  She would do best in a home with another dog as a playmate.  For sure she would occupy that dog's time and energy!  GRACIE plays, eats and sleeps to get ready to play again.  She deserves a second chance at having a loving home.  I wish I knew why she was tossed away on the streets because she is such a good girl and I have no problems out of her. She loves to go on walks or do anything that involves receiving love.  She is really a pets pet and will not bother you around the house.  I have on good thoughts and great things to say about her.   Hello World! My name is Loveable Louis, and I am a big, fluffy Double Doodle with a giant heart and an even bigger personality. I’m 5 years old and weigh about 85–90 pounds, which basically makes me a professional-sized cuddle buddy. If you like big dogs who think they’re lap dogs… we’re probably going to get along just fine. My hobbies include playing fetch like a champion, following my people around the house, making friends everywhere I go, and of course—snuggling. I’m fantastic with little kids, I’m completely house-trained, and I get along great with other dogs too. My family says you can pretty much take me anywhere because I’m such a well-mannered gentleman.   Now here’s the part of my story that’s a little bittersweet. My family loves me very much, but they are expecting their second baby soon. With two little ones keeping them busy, they worry they won’t be able to give me the attention and time I’ve always had and deserve.
