Benji is a handsome senior poodle, approximately 9 years old, looking for a caring and loving foster-to-adopt home. He was a transfer from local animal control where he had been found as a stray. Surprisingly, no one reclaimed him. We had him evaluated by our vet who found he has chronic dry eye (KCS). He is currently on 3 daily eye medications, which have helped immensely in clearing up his eyes and reducing the amount of discharge. Benji does have very limited vision and will bump into things at times if he is caught off guard. Benji is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and testing. We have him on a low daily dose of gabapentin to help with discomfort we had been noticing. We believe it to be due to old age and/or arthritis.Benji will take a little time to warm up to new people, but he is a lover once he is comfortable. He loves to give kisses and relax by your side. Can anyone give this sweet senior a chance?

Hello big world!  My name is Piper.  It is thought that I am a poodle mix (with what is anyone’s guess!).  I am a petite little gal at the moment with a big appetite.  I was born around 9/19 weigh in at a whopping 5 pounds (the vet says I need to gain a little weight).  She also thinks that I will be a medium sized dog.  I love all people and other dogs but I do get a little scared and shy if you try to pick me up too quickly or come at me fast.  This is why a home with children/visiting grandchildren 8 or older is ideal for me. I'm faster than you think and love a nice game of chase. A fenced in backyard would be amazing.  I love to run around outside and explore.  You should see me play tug of war! Tiny but mighty!  I’m working on my potty training but have not mastered it just yet so I need someone patient with me as I learn.  Like any puppy, I love putting things in my mouth.   If you think that I am what you are looking for, submit your application today!   The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Story
Monroe is an amazing dog who deserves an equally amazing family. He does well with kids of all ages. He plays well with other dogs, but does get food aggressive so he should be the only dog in the home. I am not sure how he does with cats. Every dog, cat, and person he sees, he thinks is his best friend. He is very food motivated and knows some basic commands. He will also give you anything that is on the floor in hope of getting a treat. He only pulls a little on a leash and will respect the confinement of a gate he can easily jump. He loves to play and cuddle! He will quickly roll over for you to rub his belly and loves to give kisses. He is a gentle giant who has a lot of energy and loves to play.

Winnie the POOdle is the sweetest lap dog ever. She has come a long way in almost 3 weeks of living out in the real world. She is crate-trained but does circles in a crate. Winnie prefers gates in a larger space. She loves to be cuddled once you have built trust. She doesn't do steps well, but she is working on it. Once she finds her forever home and her person; she will be completely trainable. The only command she knows is "down". This is the only way you are to pick her up to take in after backyard time. We have already seen great strides. Not a mean bone in her! She likes to dine alone.
