Story
Apply to Adopt Me! NOTE: S’mores and Silly must be adopted together.   Silly and S’mores are a 1-year-old, female poodle and poodle mix bonded pair.  Silly weighs 35 lbs. and S’mores weighs 42 lbs. They were found hungry and underweight, abandoned in a crate and only fed sporadically by Good Samaritans following the hurricane in Georgia. Silly is a poodle and S’mores is a Doodle (poodle mix). These girls have nothing but love to give to anyone and everyone; they get along great with kids of all sizes, other dogs and cats. Even being through trauma, they are just the sweetest girls anyone could ask for. Both are crate trained, but Silly prefers not to be locked in the crate and will cry here and there to let you know, while S’mores loves her crate and will go in there on her own to nap. Both are potty trained, and love to be outside running around and wrestling with each other and their foster fur sibling. They both love toys of all shapes and sizes, and chew bones are a must. They are learning to walk on a leash and doing great in the learning process. But they will not go potty on leash and prefer to do their business in the yard, therefore a fenced-in yard is required for them. These two deserve a lifetime of happiness. They are absolutely precious and anyone will be lucky to have them. Doodles and poodles are low to no shedders, require daily brushing and regular grooming to keep their coat mat-free. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Silly and S’mores, please complete an application and tell us more about your family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hazel is a gentle soul who really wants to love and is patiently waiting for the right family to help her blossom. Hazel has likely experienced trauma at the hands of humans in her past.  Although this causes her to be nervous of humans, she is a sweet, submissive girl who truly wants to trust again.  She shows absolutely no aggression. Hazel arrived to us severely matted (as you can see in the before and after photo) and had to be shaved down at the groomer.  We think she's stunning just the way she is, but when her fur grows back in she's going to be a heartstopper! Living Situation: Hazel is potty trained and crate trained, making her a great companion for any home. She’s not destructive, so you won’t have to worry about any surprises while she’s settling in.  She is good with other dogs (although nervous at first) and may do well with another friendly dog in the home to help build her confidence.  Hazel is leash trained and enjoys being outside. Temperament: While Hazel is nervous and may not come to you right away, she’s receptive once you earn her trust. If you approach her slowly and gently, she actually loves to be pet and will even take treats from you. She's just still too afraid to approach you and ask for these loves. With time and patience, she’ll show you her affectionate side, showering you with sweet kisses and companionship. What She Needs: Hazel is looking for a compassionate owner who understands the importance of patience and gentle reassurance. She thrives in a calm environment, maybe even with other doggy friends who can help her feel secure. A quiet space where she can explore at her own pace will make all the difference as she learns to trust her new humans. If you have a soft spot for shy pups and a willingness to help them flourish, Hazel could be your perfect match! Together, you’ll create a bond that will last a lifetime. Are you ready to be Hazel's hero? The adoption donation is $210 and will include spay, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 29, 2025, 1:05 pm
