Story
I love life and everyone I meet. I am a young poodle mix and I have a lot of puppiness to share with a new family. I`m not really sure what I`m mixed with but I am a big boy, about 77 pounds. I was left at a shelter because I have a lot of energy. Of course I have a lot of energy; Im a puppy after all. I just need someone to help channel my energy into positive play time and good manners. I`m very, very smart and will amaze you with how quickly I learn new commands. My foster mom says that I am a counter surfer; actually it doesn`t have to be a kitchen counter; I`m not picky. I love to explore and see what I can find. My foster mom also says that I will take anything that I`m not supposed to have so I need someone to help train me not to be so curious and not to put everything in my mouth. I always say I`m sorry and I won`t do it again but sometimes I forget. I`m such a young, spunky puppy with so much life and love to give! Will you be that special someone who will love me and have patience while while I`m still learning? SIR BENTLEY is a little over 1 yr old and is currently fostered in BREVARD county. Story
Hello . . . My name is Casper, and just like Casper the Friendly Ghost, I am very friendly too!   I am a 6-year-old white poodle weighing 61 lbs.  I am a tall and lanky fella who is looking to find my new FURever home. Nothing would please me more than to be able to spend the upcoming holidays in that new home.  I hope you enjoy reading more about me!  General Behavior:  Casper is the best boy who deserves an awesome home.  Casper came into PPR’s care with some separation anxiety (requiring medication).  He has come a long way since being in our care and has become more confident (he no longer takes medication). Likes & Dislikes: Casper LOVES to play.  He loves people and will gently “nudge you” if you aren’t showing him enough love.  He is not a fan of thunder. Training: Casper is housetrained if let out on a regular, consistent schedule.  He also has good basic manners. Medical: Casper is a healthy pup and will just require his monthly heartworm and flea prevention, like any other dog. Other Animals: Casper is experienced with other dogs, but can be weary of larger, dominant dogs.  Therefore, a home with a slightly smaller canine friend would be ideal.  Tiny dogs might not be best due to his size and play style.  He could also be the only dog in the home, as long as his people are home more often than not.  Casper has no experience with cats, but due to the same reasons as above, it may be best to have a home with no cats. Children: While in PPR’s care, Casper has not been around children.  His previous owner did state he was good with kids.  However, because of his larger size, we feel a home with no children or older children (10 and over) would be best.  Older children in the home will need to be respectful and will need to be supervised by the grown-up(s) in the home. Home: Casper would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not.  He should do well in an apartment or home.  Casper would love a home with a fenced yard to run and play, but a home without a fenced yard would be ok, as long as his daily exercise needs are met to keep him lean and strong. Casper will need a regular, quality kibble for his daily meals and a soft place to sleep after a day of play. Grooming:  Casper is a poodle who will require professional grooming approximately every 8-10 weeks.  The cost of grooming should be considered by his potential adopter. In between, he will need “at home spa days” for nail trims and bathing. Overall: Casper wants to be loved and has so much love to give.  He has had a lot of change in his life in the last couple of months, so a patient adopter who is willing to work with him to continue building his confidence is necessary.  Anyone would be blessed to have this special boy join their family.  With patience, love and commitment, the sky’s the limit for Casper. Are you the one for Casper?  Please visit our website, www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt.  Casper is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.   His adoption donation is $350. ##2170688##

Story
***Local adoption only: Teddy needs a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who can commit to taking him to his final puppy vetting appointment. The cost of this appointment is covered in his adoption donation.*** Meet Teddy! This Poodle-Labrador Retriever blend (Labradoodle) is just 6 months old and is currently about 30 lbs. This shy, snuggly sweetheart is looking for someone who will love him as much as he will love them. General Behavior: Teddy can be very shy when meeting someone for the first time, but when he comes out of his shell he is the sweetest boy! Once you win his heart, his affectionate, playful, and goofy sides will come out. Teddy's ideal day involves running and playing fetch with his favorite toys, followed by some cuddles and snoozing on the sofa. Likes & Dislikes: This chill guy loves to sleep and lounge on the couch: then, when it’s play time, he loves to run around. He'll get the zoomies and play fetch with his stuffed animals. He adores toys. Training: For such a young dog, Teddy already has good basic manners. He is housetrained if let out frequently, is a good passenger on car rides, and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He just needs a bit more practice walking on a leash. Additionally, he is teething and he loves to chew on things so it’s best to keep an eye on him at the moment and to make sure he's got appropriate chew toys. Medical: Teddy is a healthy boy! He just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: Teddy has proved good with small dogs. He hasn't been observed around cats yet, but his foster thinks he'd be OK with them. Children: Gentle Teddy is good with children of all ages. Home: A single family home would be best for Teddy, where someone is around morer often than not. He does bark when left alone. Other than that, his foster family have only heard him bark in a playful way with other dogs. He does not bark at the doorbell/knocking or at any guests etc. Grooming: As a doodle (Poodle blend), Teddy will need regular grooming (about every 6-8 weeks) to keep him looking and feeling his best.   Overall: Teddy is a lovely dog who needs an energetic family who can raise him, train him, and love him forever. Do you live in the Central Florida region? Could Teddy be the best friend that your life has been missing? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered, and he has just had his teeth cleaned. His adoption donation is $650. ##2229535##
