Story
Meet Sprocket, a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a big personality and a heart full of potential. Sprocket has had a rough start and comes with a history of reactivity and biting. He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving environment, Sprocket could be a rewarding companion. He’s looking for someone who can help him overcome his fears and show him the love and stability he deserves.

Story
Hi all! My name is Reggie. I was born on July 25, 2024. I am a 4 month-old poodle. I weigh 12-15 pounds. I was told I am a standard poodle. I was surrendered through no fault of my own. I am a very happy, playful guy. I love everybody! I love to run and play outside, toys, my foster siblings and soft beds. I am crate trained and working on potty training, which is going pretty good! I’m a very smart boy.I want to find a home that will teach me all the things a boy needs to know, take me on walks and car rides, give me lots of attention and lots of love. If you think I would fit well with your family, please contact Miami Animal Alliance.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple. Story
Christopher is 3 1/2 yr old. I adopted him 1 yr ago not thinking far enough in the future. I am widowed, retired and on fixed income. I can’t afford to keep him. He’s a wonderful companion but has separation anxiety. I can’t leave him in a crate without drugging him so I take him to daycare when I have to be away from home. He loves people, will play with other dogs if I’m not there. He gets the zoomies once in a while when outside but is happy with a 1/2 hr walk daily. He walks on a loose lead unless there’s a rabbit around. His recall is not reliable. He does bark at everything moving past the house. He is funny when he’s wanting something like a rawhide bone. I have a video of one of those times. I acquired him from a man who’d had him for about 8 months and was moving to Wyoming..he didn’t want to take him with him. That person got him because the original owner said he barked too much. So, I’m his 3rd. He is smart and would benefit from training that I can’t afford.
