Why this pet is the one for you: Sophus aka Good Boy! Meet Good Boy(Sophus), a true testament to resilience and the incredible spirit of dogs! Despite losing his right rear leg after being hit by a car, Good Boy hasn't let it slow him down. He's an adventurer at heart, running, hiking, and even chasing other dogs with joyful abandon.Good Boy(Sophus) is wonderfully sweet and adores people of all ages, including children, but prefers not to be touched on his head. He's a loyal companion who follows his caregiver everywhere, sleeps on a bed next to hers, and loves nothing more than a good nylabone to chew on.He's a gentle soul with a soft mouth, always taking treats politely, and he's excellent off-leash-sticking close to your side on walks. Max is very playful, affectionate and has a fearless spirit which keeps things lively!! Max gets along well with other dogs, adults and children alike. Given his young age he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Max’s owner recently became unable to care for him, therefore FHSTJ intervened February 2024 so he wouldn’t have to succumb to the streets.
