Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 1/31/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Bailey to our trip for the right home 💕
Meet Bailey! She is a 2.5 year old, second generation labradoodle which has given her that beautiful hypoallergenic poodle coat which is non-shedding❤️
She weighs right above 50 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, and microchipped. She will also be current on all vaccines, and cleared by our vet prior to adoption.
She is house trained, and has not had a single accident in our home in the time we have had her. She is very good about going outside to use the restroom when asked to.
She is crate trained, and will sleep in a crate at night if you would like her to, however she sleeps on a dog bed aside ours at night and does wonderful with that arrangement as well ❤️
She is leash trained, and loves her walks however she can get them in. The moment she sees the leash, her tail doesn't stop wagging and she automatically will sit down to "leash up." She is VERY smart and listens very well which has made training very easy with her.
She knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, shake/paw, and "leash up." She is always willing to do what is asked especially if you have a special treat in hand 🙃
She is wonderful with other dogs, big or small. Great with cats, as she lived with a few in her prior home. She would make a great friend to any existing pet in her next home if they welcomed her to be ☺️
She is a bit shy when she first meets anyone she doesn't know, but she is very social, loving, and loves attention so if you give her the time to get to know you she will open up and bring a tremendous amount of joy to your home, and heart 💓
She is great on road trips, and welcomes them every single time even if it's just to ride around town. If you travel, and want a friend who will enjoy the many ventures life has to offer them she will happily be your girl every single time.
And yes!! She is a total WATER LOVING girl! The first day we brought her in (and yes! It was cold!!) she took one look at our pool and jumped right in for a swim! I'm sure warmer weather will leave her wanting to jump in again and again so Ild say trips to the beach, or any other safe areas of water will, or should be in her definite future to come 😉
She is wonderful with our groomer, and loves her spa days knowing a relaxing bath is to follow 😊
Her prior family worked long hours. They lived in a condo, so without a yard she was cooped up all day waiting for them to come home. They knew her days weren't fulfilled without them there, and didn't want her to be depressed waiting for them every single day, as she deserved to have someone who had the time to devote to her the way they used to be able to before their careers took over the way they did.
Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/bailey
It covers her vet costs, the care involved in the time she has been here with us, her grooming costs; along with the training we have personally done with her.
