Story
Meet Percival (Percy) Our Aussiedoodle prince charming! Quiet, gentle, and full of heart—Percy is the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention… but completely steals yours. Percy spent the first 5 years of his life as a breeding stud on a ranch. When the dynamic changed and he began getting attacked by another dog, he was discarded. He was adopted into what was meant to be a fresh start—but it quickly became clear the environment wasn’t the right fit for him. After multiple escape attempts and safety concerns, we stepped in to bring him back and give him the stability he truly needs. Despite everything, Percy came to us knowing kindness. He leans in for comfort, seeks connection, and shows us every day that he just wants to feel safe and loved. Perks  Calm, quiet, and incredibly gentle  Affectionate and loves to lean into his person Dog neutral—does well with calm dogs of all sizes Has shown positive exposure to cats and chickens  Total homebody—his happy place is wherever you are Needs   Building confidence in new environments, sounds, and people    Needs slow introductions and reassurance in unfamiliar situations Can be nervous around men—will need a patient, understanding approach Flight risk tendencies—secure handling and awareness required Ideal Home Percy would thrive in a calm, predictable home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. He’s looking for someone patient and present—someone he can bond with deeply and look to for guidance. A quieter lifestyle suits him best, with limited chaos and lots of reassurance. If there is a male in the home, it will take a very special, gentle, and patient person willing to earn his trust. This sweet boy just wants to feel safe and loved… can that be you? ##2535415##

Story
Frankie is a sweet older girl who still loves adventures and has plenty of energy to keep her furever family busy. Frankie loves going and doing everything with her family. She is great in the car, rides in a basket on a bike, enjoys the paddle board, and chills at the beach, restaurants, and bars. If they allow dogs she wants to be there… as long as she is with her people she is happy. She absolutely loves her walks and can easily walk for over an hour a couple times a day. Frankie does have some significant separation anxiety and is crate trained. She requires CBD oil, a routine, and her crate when she is going to be home alone (even for short periods of time). She just gets very anxious and is determined to get to her family, which often means scratching and destroying doors, trim, and walls. The CBD oil and crate help so much, but she does still whine and bark for periods of time when left alone. Her furever family would be best if home a lot, or if not, able to adhere to a routine when leaving and live by forgiving neighbors who don’t mind a howl or bark. Frankie loves people but she isn’t too sure about other dogs. She is totally calm when she sees another dog and if they keep their distance she is great. She is tolerant of small dogs, but does not like bigger dogs or dogs who have a lot of energy. She has perfected the ‘get away from me’ growl and if a dog backs off she is perfect. If dogs leave her alone she is great and would be perfect with a chill, smaller doggie sibling. Frankie loves to be petted and snuggle up with her humans. She sleeps in her crate or her doggie bed and is potty trained. She is a good eater and will do anything for a treat:) She is currently able to follow the commands of sit, stay (working on increasing distance), down, and ‘in’ for her crate. She walks well on a leash and gets so excited for her walks. She isn’t really a ‘playful’ dog, so she gets her exercise with her walks:) Frankie startles easily with loud noises and would do best in a calmer, quieter home with no small children. She is selective with what she wants and doesn’t want, but she is an older gal and she deserves the best. Story
Mica is very affectionate and loving, although a little distrustful and shy especially when changing environments. With patience and lots of love her true personality emerges. Mica gets along with almost all dogs and with older children. SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO BE PICKED UP until she trusts you. She has all her vaccines, is spayed and microchipped as well as crate and potty trained and walks on leash like a pro. She is highly intelligent and will be able to learn your routine very quickly with patience and love and feeling secure in her new surroundings. Mica (and Chiquita) were neglected by their previous owner and relinquished to FHSTJ (Jan 2025). Mica has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with the affection and attention she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family.

Story
Teddy is approximately 10 years of age, around 20 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped poodle breed. He IS crate potty and leash trained~ soon he will be a pro of all three!! He is affectionate with a young heart and childlike demeanor. Teddy gets along well with most dogs, adults and older children alike. Given his older age, he should be able to learn, with patience, your family’s routine and become part of the gang in no time!!! Teddy was relinquished by his previous owner. He has been tested and is 100% healthy with sparkling teeth. Although he is older and blind; he is worthy of a forever home. He is now flourishing under the loving care of FHSTJ. (Jan 2025) Teddy has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!
