These two pups have been surrendered to one of our overcrowded shelter partners, and we can't get them out unless we find a committed foster or adopter for them in Orange County. They must stay TOGETHER! PLEASE NOTE: These dogs are still with our shelter partner. We cannot arrange meet and greets because we are 100% foster based and cannot pull them unless we have a foster or adoptive home for them to go to. This bonded pair is described as poodle mixes, around 3 years of age. Both are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They were surrendered by their owner because she is elderly and could not safely walk them. They are described as friendly, sweet, and good with kids. They have lived in a backyard their whole lives and have had no training. They will need help with basic obedience, crate, potty, and leash training. They will undoubtedly be amazing additions to the family that has the patience and time to help them be their best selves. Bella loves to love. She has a heart of gold. Unfortunately our family schedules have changed significantly and it feels unfair to leave her home by herself so much. She sleeps in her crate through the night and is very playful. Loves every dog she sees and loves to play with the kids. Follows basic commands. She is on the smaller end of medium currently 27 lbs. She does have Addisons disease. Serious adopters please research. She has been in perfect health and happy since starting her monthly injections (Zycortal) $43/mo and her daily steroid ~$30 for a 2 month supply. She is expected to live a normal and happy life. She is the sweetest girl and deserves the sweetest home

We think that 18-month-old Bailey is a poodle, possibly mixed with Maltese. He is a sweet and friendly boy who loves other dogs. We are learning more about him and will update his profile soon. Unknown right now as to whether he likes young children, but older children are fine. Bailey came to GSROC as an unwanted dog from Mexico. His original owner was having a baby and didn’t want him any more. He was given to a friend who had too many dogs, and eventually, he found his way to safety with us. Bailey has been altered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped now that he is in our care.

Sugar is a sweet young poodle mix who found herself at an overcrowded local shelter through no fault of her own. She was matted and clearly neglected, and appears to have already had a litter of puppies. She was terrified and completely unsure of her noisy surroundings, and GSROC could not stand the thought of leaving her at the shelter any longer. We scooped her up and promised her a better life. Sugar is learning how to trust and has been cleaned up beautifully by our team. She is currently in a loving foster home where she’ll continue to come out of her shell. Sugar is approximately 30 pounds, and she would love nothing more than to be your new best friend!
