Meet Lester! Lester is an absolute sweetheart who’s ready to steal your heart and become your new best friend. He is a sweet snuggly boy who loves to give kisses. He will even sneak on on the lips if you let him. This special boy is use to marking his territory so he wears a belly band inside just in case. What he’s already mastered is being the ultimate cuddle buddy—this little guy loves nothing more than snuggling up with his people! Lester is fantastic with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to any home with furry companions. His gentle nature and loving personality make him an easy fit in just about any family. Whether he’s playing or lounging around, Lester's sweet demeanor will melt your heart. His day starts with frequent kisses to the face and potty break in the morning. He has his special rabbit diet to keep the itches away. Then off to work with his foster mom. During the day he prefers to be around a human to soak in all the love and attention. His favorite pass time is lap time and belly rubs. Once you stop he will shower you with affection until you start again. He pottys in the middle of the day around noon and its back to naptime on your lap of course. Then home and potty right before bed. He loves a good fluffy squeaky toy or a rope to tug. He is a silly playful guy who just wants to be loved. He takes a Claritin a day for allergies and eats his special rabbit food to help him with that. He is a stage 5 clinger and everyone who meets him falls in love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and cuddly companion who gets along with everyone, Lester might just be your perfect match! If you do not enjoy kisses then likely he is not your type. He does kiss on the first date but he will never kiss and tell. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit. One of our volunteers met her at a dog park and owner wanted to rehome her. She was hiding Teddy from her landlord and works very long hours. She was friendly with people while with her previous owner at the park. We took her in from the person that was not allowed to have her at her apt since she was a puppy. We are awaiting Teddy's vet exam record for more info. She had to get all her vaccinations with us. On her first day with her foster home Teddy was very nervous and scared but this is huge change for her. After a couple of days at her foster home she has slowly warmed up. Teddy is now feeling safe eating going to backyard for potty biz but some indoor accidents. Teddy is sweet and enjoys yard time sun and doing indoor and backyard zoomies now. She has warmed up enough to cuddle. Teddy needs time to get healthy and learn at her foster home. She will need grooming soon. Teddy is dog friendly. Our vet said her skin is yeasty so she's a bit stinky itchy and flakey. Probably from poor diet. She is now eating healthy foods and will get medicated baths. She will be groomed when she is comfortable enough for that. More info. to come. UPDATE 12/26/24: Poor Teddy went to our vet today for possible UTI or bladder infection. Vet did xray and she has a huge Bladder Stone that needs emergency surgery. Donations are greatly needed to help cover her surgery bill. About $4000 or more. Poor Teddy.December 31, 2024, 1:16 am

Story

Elsa and Anna (Frozen movie) are sisters from an accidental litter. Mom was a was poodle mix (white) and dad was a pom (tan/white). They were an urgent rescue within hours of contacting us with no vet history. Both are in their dedicated foster home who had to bathe them right away. They were smelly dirty and had some matting. Once they were bathed and ate healthy foods both are now very happy and playful. They slept well over night. Super tiny cuties and very sweet. They got their vet exam first vaccines deworm and microchip on 1/9/25. Our vet thinks they are about 6-8 weeks old based on their teeth so we listed them as 7 weeks old. Both are cuddly give kisses friendly playful and super cuties. Anna (blk/tan) seems more out going. Available after 8 weeks old. They need time to build their DHPP antibodies to protect them and make sure they don't get sick. More info. to come from their foster home.January 31, 2025, 1:27 am

Shadow is appx 4 yrs old, standard poodle! He weights about 40lbs. Sweet pup and likes to follow you around. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Very food motivated. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, which I think will get better over time as he just arrived and everything is new for him.

Norrin is appx 4 yrs old, white standard poodle. He's currently shaved down since he was very matted at the shelter. He weights about 40lbs. He's very food motivated, walks fine with leash, does fine with other dogs and people. He's pretty independent and not very attached to people like Shadow is. Crate trained. Please meet Dude! He is eager to please, loving and very dog and people friendly. Thus far nice to walk on leash, though he is now making it clear he'd LOVE more space and FUN! He definitely needs a yard and an active lifestyle - though he is also very cuddly. Dude would do best in a home with no other pets nor young kids as he loves having all the attention on him. He does do fine meeting other dogs outside the home on walks, parks, and other outdoor spaces. Training and consistency, a playmate or trips to parks where he can run and engage - he is such a delightful fellow so full of life and LOVE!
