Story
When I adopted Mage from the shelter, he was very underfed and afraid of people. Now, after only a few visits, he's not afraid to ask new people to scratch his rush or give him scratches. While he might not be very snuggle-happy, he does like to share space with you. He hasn't figured out how to open doors with his nose so he knows you're awake, he'll whine outside of your door until you let him in just so he can lay on the floor and hang out with you. I love Mage and I'm happy I was able to get him to a place to be more comfortable around people and more his true self. But my health doesn't allow me to be as active of an owner as I think he could use and sometimes it's hard for me to walk so he doesn't get as many walks as he should. Mage is 4 years old and he is house trained and doesn't get on furniture. The most you'll ever hear him bark is when he's excited for breakfast and dinner.

Izzy is an incredibly sweet girl who's had a rough life. She doesn't let that stop her though and is ready to forgive all for a cookie. She is a laid back pup who wants nothing more than to snuggle up on your couch and chill. She's happy to share her space and just wants a safe place with some love. To date, that's been too much to ask for this deserving soul, but we are hopeful that we can change her luck. Can you be her savior?? Izzy is a ~7yr old pit bull mix female dog. She is kid friendly, dog friendly, and housetrained. She is approximately 50lbs. She'd love to meet you ASAP so get your application in today!! Her fee is $200. **We cannot guarantee dog behavior**

Story
Honey is sweet and funny, she loves people and is affectionate. She’s good with dogs once she gets to know them, but reactive to most dogs she doesn’t know. I’ve taken her to training and she knows some commands well. She has a wild streak and needs exercise every day. She loves to lounge, lay in the sun, snuggle and kiss your face! She needs someone with finances for more training and her continual medication and appointments. I’m willing to work with the right person to transition her to a new home with an experienced pet owner who can handle a strong dog. I rescued Honey in September 23 from MADACC. She was about three years old with a bad ear infection & no history. I had blood tests to find out what she is allergic to. The dermatologist prescribed her with a serum that she takes daily and I’m told she needs it for the rest of her life. That has helped her tremendously. Recently, she had a skin infection and the dermatologist said she will likely have reoccurring issues.

Not all pups are lucky to get out but, with your help, I may just have that chance! If you can help, please apply on www.HBWI.org. Meet Mapalo, a resilient Pittie mix whose name means "blessings"—and that’s exactly what he’ll bring to your life. Found as a stray in a small rural Texas town, Mapalo came in thin and shy, but with love and care, he’s truly flourished. Despite being neglected, abused, and even attacked, Mapalo's heart is still full of gold. He’s made plenty of doggy and human friends along the way, but his true dream is to hop on his long-awaited freedom ride and find his forever family in Wisconsin. After being overlooked for far too long, Mapalo is more than ready for the beautiful life he deserves. Could you be the one to finally bring him home?
