Story
Meet Clay, the happiest little pup you’ll ever meet! This guy loves to play, especially when it involves water, and he’s always up for a good cuddle session afterward. He’s great with kids and other dogs, and honestly, he’s never without a smile—it’s like he’s permanently in a good mood! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy, and super sweet companion, Clay will steal your heart in no time. He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and once you meet him, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without him! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
