Story
Hi my name is Galileo. Gali is a sweet dog and very intelligent. I love him so much but I need to find a better living environment for him. This is tough for me so I take rehoming seriously as he is such a special dog. He would thrive with an experience owner who is able to give him lots of play and exercise. He loves his walks and hikes. He adores people but does not like other dogs due to multiple dog attacks in the past. He also has known aggression triggers. He does not like to be moved from the couch or bed so I would strongly recommend he stay off those. He is crate trained for this very reason. He also has separation anxiety. The crate training has helped with this. This is why I would like to find an experienced dog owner for him given these special needs. If you can handle these issues he will give you all the love you both deserve.

Story
Meet the charming Kilo, born in June 2017, and get ready to fall in love with the cutest and sweetest guy around! Kilo, unfortunately, was born deaf, making it a bit challenging for him to pick up on social cues. Due to this, he requires a special home where he can be the *only dog* and have the space to decompress and find comfort on his own terms. Unlike some dogs, Kilo prefers solitude when feeling anxious or nervous and needs a home with individuals who understand and appreciate his unique needs. This incredibly smart and sweet boy has adapted well by learning various hand signals, showcasing his quick learning abilities. Kilo is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and eagerly waiting for his forever family. If you're ready to welcome this special companion into your home, inquire for more details about Kilo. He's poised to bring joy and love to his forever home.

Story
Hi there! My name is Bruiser, and I am 5 years old. I am a little on the small side for my age and breed. I am a playful and happy man, and enjoy leisurely walks, laying in the grass, and snuggle sessions. The vet has discovered that I have a heart murmur, so keeping calm is my biggest goal...and challenge. I don't let it get me down, I am living a joyful life. I walk well on the leash and know my basic commands, like sit and down. When outside, I like rolling around in the cool grass. I DO NOT like cats. Do you like long walks and classical music too?! Come meet me at the Humane Society of Charles County MD today!
