Story
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at GNARHouston@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home! Name: Ivy Sex: Female Color/Pattern: White with gray ears, fawn face markings Breed: Small bully mix Weight: 40 pounds Age at intake: Approximately 1 year 6 months BDAY approx: 4/7/2022 Found date: 4/7/2023 Intake date: 10/5/2023 Coat length: Short Description: Ivy is a super sweet and energetic young pitbull mix. Everyone she meets is a new friend! Personality: Ivy is such a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, give hugs, and be close to her people. She is very energetic and loves playing fetch and tug, but running around outside with her doggie friends is her absolute favorite activity. She loves everyone she meets, and she's just happy to be included. Due to her high energy level, she would do best in an active household or a home with a large fenced-in yard. She is young and still working on leash and crate manners, but she's a quick learner and eager to please. Background: Ivy was dumped in the parking lot of a vet clinic, and one of the staff there took her in as a foster. When she was found, she was underweight; covered in fleas, cuts, and scrapes; and was heartworm positive. Lucky for her, the vet clinic got her all fixed up! She was cleaned up, spayed, provided with fast kill heartworm treatment. Now she is officially heartworm free and ready for her forever home! Compatibility Dogs - yes Cats - unknown Kids - older kids - yes; younger kids/babies - her energy level might be too high

Story
We are rehoming our two beloved dogs, Tucker and Cleo, and would love to keep them together if possible. Both are professionally trained (K9 America in Houston) great with kids (we have three under 10), and currently live in Meyerland, near Bellaire. Both best suited for a cat/small animal-free home. **Tucker is a 4-year-old white/grey Pitbull mix. He’s a sweet, well-behaved snuggler who thrives on affection. He is the baby of the two. Short walk king. **Cleo is a 4-year-old black/white Lab mix. Energetic and playful, she loves fetch, jogs, and would thrive in an active home. She has potential to be a great hunting or farm dog, very trainable (food motivated). If you’re looking for loving companions, Tucker and Cleo would be perfect! They would adore a family and the opportunity to get out more.

Story
Prince is a really good dog and I really hate to get rid of him but we have such a busy schedule that we don’t have the time anymore to dedicate to him. We have 4 kids so he loves children and he is really friendly and he loves to play. He is hypher so taking him outside to play is always fun. He is house trained. If he has to use the bathroom he will start whining or go near the back door to let us know he has to use the restroom. He is an inside dog as well. I just want him to go to a good home because he really is a great dog

Story
Gizmo is a good boy. He is happy and energetic but very loving and affectionate. He likes his chew toys, walks, and cuddling. He’s is good with kids, and he plays well with adults too. He is house trained and he knows the basic commands - sit, lay down, stay, and kennel. All of his shots are up to date and he will come with a bed, a kennel, a leash and harness for walking, and his shot records. Gizmo does have an allergy to chicken so we’ve put him on a grain free salmon diet. He also has a tendency to drink from the toilet on occasion but as long as he’s got water in his bowl he’ll drink from there first. My daughter has made the commitment to serve her country in the United States Navy so she no longer lives at home and unfortunately, I do not have the time in my schedule to care for Gizmo alone in the way he should be cared for. It is our wish for him to find a good home full of love, happiness and hopefully other furry friends and family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. No Apartments, Mobile Homes. Must have a fenced yard.I am Boomer!   My foster brother says I am a 'Chic Magnet'!   He takes me with him when ever he goes out with his friends.    I am very social and love everyone. I am a fun loving, talkative guy who loves my family. I especially love my 2 legged brother who talks back to me all the time.  We just received my DNA results and man are they crazy! I don't look like any of these and certainly am not as big as any of these breeds.   I know commands like come, down, sit, and I know when mom says 'time for bed', that means I run to my crate and she gives me a tasty treat. Mom doesn't like nasty puppy kisses, so she taught me to give hugs. That means I put my face next to her and she squeezes me for a hug. I am a really good boy and will be a fun guy for your family I love my foster brother David (he is really tall and stands on 2 feet - Weird! But I love to talk to him when he comes home from work, or when we wake up in the morning. We have some really great conversations.    I am a fun loving guy and would love to have a family of my own. I am ready for my forever family so apply to adopt me!   =========================================================       Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog.
