Story
Boomer is a sweet, goofy guy who&#39s all about fun and cuddles. He&#39s still a young pup, full of energy, and absolutely loves his toys, seriously, he&#39ll carry them around like trophies. He would love a dog buddy around his size to play with. He does well with all dogs and respects boundaries. Boomer&#39s working on his manners (he knows &#34leave it&#34), and while he&#39s super smart, he&#39s still young and learning. If you&#39ve got experience with bully breeds, you&#39ll know exactly how to bring out the best in him. He&#39s going to be a big boy when he&#39s full grown, and he&#39s already a pro-level snuggler. Boomer is ready to roll, microchipped fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on Heartgard, and neutered. He is waiting for his forever family. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Boomer is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.August 30, 2025, 3:35 pm

Story
Unfortunately I have to move out of my place and the place I'm moving to does not allow pets so I have to re-home him before the end of January or I will have to take him back to the shelter unfortunately. I’ve adopted Oreo from the shelter when he was 7 months and I’ve had him for 2 years now and he’s a really sweet friendly dog. He might be shy at first but he’s very playful and can play 24/7 if u let him so you need a lot of energy because he doesn’t get bored. He gets scared of sudden loud noises like doors slamming and will go hide. He’s also never shown any signs of aggression and the only time he barks is when someone is knocking on the front door to let you know but will stop after you acknowledge it.

Story
My husband passed away and she was his dog im disabled and unable to care for her. She is really excited to play with dogs. Mostly little dogs and really shy with larger ones. I have the shot records and microchip information so it can be changed. Unfortunately my husband passed before we could have her fixed. She is about a 1yr and 7 months. And had to wait til she was old enough. She was found on the street as a little puppy. She is good with kids of all ages. Loves to play and loves walks. Sleeping too. Someone active would be great.I can give you what food I have and toys she has a bed and a cage I only use if maitainace comes in. She is really loving and loves to sit next to you. This is extremely hard for me. She is the only thing I have left of him. Please help me find a great home. She did have a negative heartworm test and take the heartworm and flea pill every month. And a little pooping problem that is solved by adding water to food.
