Story
Leggs is a resilient pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He tries to play with cats, but also respects their space. He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion.

Story
Roggenrola (named after the Pokémon by my 6YO; often called ‘Rola’) is a sweet, confident girl looking for a stable home. She takes a bit longer to warm up to people because she started life as a feral pup, but in her time with me she has evolved into a cuddle and playful pup. Rola does well with my 6YO and 9YO, but she can be a bit unsure of the sounds that come along with children. That’s eroded slowly, but she may adjust more quickly to a quieter household (although her brother is doing phenomenal with his 2YO best friend. She has a gold star in potty training and crate training; the crate is definitely her safe space, and she’ll wrap herself up in a blanket and put herself to bed with her soft toys. More often, though, she wants to cuddle on the bed or couch. Rola is very food motivated and a fast learner. She walks well on a leash, and, while she may pursue cats in the yard, she’s not reactive to them in the house or on a leash. She’s patiently waiting for her forever family!

Story
Daisy was handed over to me by a neighbor who was not willing/able to provide adequate care. Since then, we've worked to get her and her puppies vetted. Daisy is UTD on vaccines, HW negative, and spayed. Despite her rough life, Daisy is full of love. She's settled well into being a couch potato. She will carry her toys around for half an hour just to make sure she doesn't loose them, and so far she's only gently disassembled them. She does well on walks; not perfect, but she's comfortable on a leash and a joy to take around. She's fantastic with my senior Aussie, Corgi mix, and Dachshund mix, and she's been a great mother to her puppies. She has an eye for my cats, but I haven't had any issues (I also do not leave dogs unattended in the home). She can be a bit aloof when first meeting people, but she's quickly learning that most people are good. She deserves a loving, stable home to live out the rest of her life.

Story
Ledyba (named after the Pokémon; often shorted to 'Ledy') is my 9YO’s favorite of the puppies because she’s a fantastic cuddler and would curl up with him while he reads all day. She can be very timid to start, but once she’s settled in she’s right there with you, ready to curl up while you work or rest. She’s great on a leash, but sometimes new sounds can trigger a freeze response. Patience has been key in helping her move forward, and her confidence grows every day. She often “checks-in” on a walk, happy to be going on an adventure with you, and my younger kids can handle her without issue. Ledy can be a bit goofy. She doesn’t jump on people, but her zoomies do include loping around like a baby moose. Even so, she’s very aware of her body and I’ve had zero issue with her running into anyone or knocking anyone over. She asks so politely to climb into my lap and has the softest paws when she does it. Ledy’s perfect home would be one that gives her time to figure out new situations.
