Story
Our total sweetheart, Hope, is back on the market looking for a new home to call her own. It appears that our sweet girl would prefer to have another dog in the home. Hope is not nearly as confident without a canine pal by her side.
Hope is… so appropriately named. When you first meet Hope, she shows off her shy side, but only until she becomes comfortable. Between her ever wagging tail, happy dances, grin from ear to ear and her want to be loved, she will really steal your heart.
Once she settles in, Hope has an inquisitive mind, ridiculously funny spirit and affectionate heart. Full of love for life, she is often a complete and total clown (you will forever have a smile on your face) and loves to get reactions from anyone willing to partake in her silly antics. The more you show her you love her silly side, the more silly she becomes.
Hope has a gentle, loving spirit. Yet she also has a goofy, larger than life personality. Hope is a quiet girl in general - her foster has never heard her bark. The only sound she ever makes is some quiet whining while crated if she needs to go to the bathroom. She thinks she is a lap dog, always wants to be touching you and gets along with everyone she meets. She always gives hugs when at the vet, which is especially adorable.
She loves the teenagers she is in foster with. We think that very young children might be a bit much for her at first and while we have no doubt she would be their bff as she grows with them, an adopter with young children might expect a longer period of time for her to decompress and feel safe with them. This girl has not a single mean bone in her body, she’s just shy until she knows she’s safe.
It’s easy to tell she is going to completely adore her ‘person’ and will truly love with every inch of her heart. She would likely thrive with additional training if her adopter would want to explore more than the basics.
Hope LOVES LOVES LOVES other dogs but she does play hard. During play, think bulldozer, hurdler and expert zoomie tail tucker

House trained Crate trained Walks nicely on leash, only pulling if something makes her nervous Rides nicely in the car, may need a boost up if the vehicle is high Fenced in yard not required but would make for an easier transition for her.
