Story
I adopted Morgan as she was time-stamped about 7 weeks ago. She is a really good dog, easily trained and had some training even before I got her - I use a local trainer and he said she is also a good dog. She does need more time to decompress and could use more training, but mostly she is good at what does know. The problem is I have committed to hosting an international student until 2027. I was not made aware that this student would end up being afraid of her. Morgan barked at her one day due to her misunderstanding what the student was doing and she's been fearful ever since and won't even consider doing family training. This breaks my heart as I am not one to ever give up a pet. Morgan is my fourth adoption and she gets along well with my current dog, Chili - she does tend to be the dominate one (as most females will be over males) but she's never hurt him and is learning my cues of when to leave him alone. Crate and house trained, obeys most commands, very sweet and loving

Story
Our girl Faith was left in a kill shelter in KY.  She had rescue but they backed out when they heard she was a little too "interested" in cats.  Faith is ultra submissive and will roll over & give her belly for anyone.  There is not a mean bone in this girl's body - but she does have issues with CERTAIN men. She's about 10 years old & plays appropriately with other dogs big & small and is bunkmates with MJ on our site (who is 1/2 her size).  We would consider her med energy but has much love to give! Because of her fear aggression when it comes to most men, we cannot bring her to adoption events so an appt would need to be made to meet her. Our adoption fee is $325 and all of our pets come with full vet records. All animals are up to date on vaccinations & dewormed. Unless otherwise indicated, puppies are NOT spayed or neutered since our vet recommends waiting until 6mos of age to do so. Please keep in mind we are a Rescue Group and most of our pups come to us with little or no background info regarding breed, eventual size, age or prior health issues. We rely on the expertise of our veterinarians and make estimates based on past experience. Also, when you're adopting from a Rescue, you should ask questions! You should always get shot/medication records and the rescue should have had the dog for a bit of time to check for disease. Take the time to educate yourself before adopting. A reputable rescue will have nothing to hide and will answer ALL your questions!!! Please visit our Web Site to see all of the pets we have for adoption. Our site contains information about our adoption process and fees, our application, and answers to frequently asked questions. Please read it carefully before contacting us. If you are interested in adopting THIS wonderful pet, we strongly encourage you to complete our adoption application now. Once we receive and approve your application, we will notify you of approval. The first application to be received and approved will get 1st choice - be sure that your references are available and willing to speak with us. Thank You Visit us at one of our next events.
