Story
Hi, I’m Bunny. I’m a youngster, only a year old slender 40# gal with BIG PINK EARS!!!!!! Can you believe I was almost a goner? That’s right, little ole me almost bit the dust. Kicked the bucket. Sayonara, muchacha. It was my final plea and I was this close to making the “E” list. Good thing I’m so stinkin cute. Molly’s saw my picture, heard my story and came to my rescue. Whew! That was a close one. I’ve been here a few weeks now and am settling in and making friends. I was really nervous at first, but I’m now in a play group with other pups my size and having a blast. Now that I have a new lease on life, I’m really looking forward to having a home and family. I have some awesome attributes to offer: - I’m a great listener - I grin Ear to Ear - you won’t have to repeat yourself …well maybe - no one can sneak up on us - you’d always win playing hide and seek - built in tv antennas - I might even be able to fly with these things - Fun Fact: Ears Keep growing as you age! Just think of what I'll look like at age 10!!! If you think you’d like to meet up for a chat, I’m all ears, but HURRY UP! With these CUTE Pink Ears, I will go Oh so quick because I'm "Ear-Resistible!" To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Age:  4 years Size:  60 lbs Estimated breed:  Staffordshire bull terrier/Mountain cur mix Lives with: Cats. She prefers a home with no other dogs   Update 9/9 : Zainab has come a long way since she was rescued off the chain in January! She has received treatment for heartworms and spayed and is ready to join a forever family! Zainab is a super loyal girl who bonds strongly with her people and pack. She has been in a foster home without other dogs and is thriving! She’s had some positive interactions with other dogs, but due to her background of living on a chain, she’ll need more training and experience with other dogs before she’s comfortable sharing a home with them. She is crate and house trained and knows how to “sit” for a treat, too! She’s playful but not super energetic and could join you on hikes, or spend a lazy day on the couch. She’s such a lovable girl who deserves the absolute best forever home!   Mama Zainab was found living on a chain in South Carolina, nursing five babies off her emaciated body. One puppy unfortunately didn't make it, but we were able to save the remaining four puppies and placed them into foster care. Zainab is now also safe with us in foster care and looking for her own forever home!    Zainab is around 4 years old and weighs 60 lbs. She is a sweet and gentle girl who clearly has never lived inside a home before. She was perplexed by the television in her foster home and walked right into the sliding glass doors. She is learning just how nice indoor living is and picks up quickly! She walks nicely on leash without pulling and loves meeting new people. Zainab injured her eye while living on the chain, and her owner never pursued medical treatment. She was assessed by our ophthalmologist, who advised that while she is totally blind in one eye, it causes her no pain or discomfort, so no treatment is needed! She received treatment for heartworms through the rescue and has now earned a clean bill of health.   After everything she's been through, Mama Z deserves to find a perfect forever home, and we are committed to finding one for her!    To adopt Zainab, please apply on our website! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of any of our animals. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training.   PA Kennel License #18366March 5, 2025, 11:53 am

Story
This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do; This is Angus McDonald, I have had him since 2020 in my home in Florida, and due to financial devastation in 2022, I was forced to move back in with family. This has been a hard adjustment for Angus. With age he has come to not be friendly with most dogs, and must stay secluded from my mother's dogs to prevent incidents. His living situation is not ideal for him, and I am still recovering immensely and cannot give him the 100% he deserves. Angus loves to hike and walk, but his favorite is swimming. He loves his Jolly Ball and peanut butter, and needs a sweater for cold weather. He's a sweetheart and loves his people, but he has become anxious under his current circumstances and has acted out. I know he could thrive in a single pet home with a dedicated and experienced handler. Please help. We are desperate. I love him to death and can't put him in a shelter. It would kill me.

Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this letter to surrender my beloved puppy, Gucci. Gucci is an 8-month-old Staffordshire Terrier with a loving personality and a strong protective instinct. She has been a wonderful companion, full of energy, intelligence, and affection. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I am unable to provide her with the environment and structure she needs to thrive. Gucci is a good dog with a loyal heart. She is well-behaved in the home and enjoys playtime, exercise, and affection. However, she has shown a strong protective nature, which makes it challenging for me to manage her behavior in certain situations. This decision was not made lightly, and my only wish is for Gucci to find a home where she will be loved, understood, and given the best chance to succeed. She deserves a family that can dedicate the time, patience, and experience required to support her development.
