Charlie is sponsored by Erin & Cindy.Meet Charlie — Your Adventure Buddy and Cuddle King! 🐾Charlie is a handsome young pit bull with a heart as big as his zoomies! This lovable goofball is bursting with energy and affection — he’s the kind of dog who’s always ready for a walk, a game, or any excuse to be by your side.Shelter life has been tough for Charlie — all the noise and excitement get him a little too amped up. But once he’s out and about, you’ll see a whole different dog. On walks, he settles in nicely, enjoying the sights and sniffs. After he’s had a chance to burn off that puppy energy, Charlie transforms into a total snugglebug. His favorite place? Right in your lap, soaking up love and doling out kisses.Charlie’s dream home is one where he can get regular exercise, consistency in training, plenty of playtime, and most importantly — a human (or two) who doesn’t mind being his favorite pillow. Story
Are you looking for adoring companionship? Do you want a dog to look at you like you are the sun, moon, stars, and more? Are you looking for an excuse to hike, explore, and just get out there more? Well, then I have just the dog for you! Lydia is her name and holy heck is she a good one. Take a look at her video then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/gkSLo2THrZs If all you know right now is what you saw- black dog with an expressive face, it’s a start, but there is so much more! She is real cutie with personality. dog friendly, bouncy girl, with a love for water, always ready to hop in the car, great leash skills, and about the best snuggles you could ask for. In rescue, age and breed are details we cannot guarantee but offer as educated observations so keep that in mind through this next few sentences. Lydia is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 52 full-grown lbs. As for breed, she is giving us Boxer/Pittie mix maybe even some fun loving lab in there too. She is exactly why rescue is the best breed, whatever this mix is, it’s great! If you have watched her video you will know that Lydia is dog-friendly with a fun-loving, energy matching play style and is great with a variety of age/size dogs. Lydia is one of those dogs whose fun is contagious, other dogs enjoy it and you will love watching her get the fun started, she radiates joy and has a visible love for life. If its just you and her spending time together, a hike or stopping in at your favorite coffee shop will hit the spot for her. After that she is going to be ready to find a spot in the shade for a well-deserved break. If you are a weekend warrior, she is absolutely meant for you. In the cars he wants a little stretch with the window down so she can feel the wind on her face but once you hit the fast roads she is happy to curl up into a ball and snooze the miles away. Lydia has been fortunate and is waiting for adoption day in a devoted foster home. Having a foster home is something we like to share because it plays such an important part in being house-trained and understanding the rhythm of a home, while giving us a front row seat to who they are naturally. Her foster has shared such positive insights about Lydia, from her personality to the things that make her happy. The first element is that she has been an all around great house guest! She is fully house trained and is great in her crate. Lydia’s foster has personal dogs as well as several foster dog so their home is a lot like a canine club. The age range is from young to old and sizes from small to extra large are present so it is absolutely fair to say, Lydia is dog-friendly. Passing dogs on walks to greeting new dogs on leash, she is polite and friendly. She would definitely love a playmate in her forever home, she gets so much happiness out of playing we can’t imagine her living as a solo-dog, though occasional playdates or doggy day care time could do the trick. The dogs she had the best connection with were confident males that matched her energy and understood it isn’t always go,go, go and play, play play. An ideal home for Lydia would include occasional adventures, a hike, day-trip or simple errands, along with occasional leisure walks around the neighborhood. A yard would be best for her- she loves being outside playing and exploring. She would be a great fit for single or family life and if you have kids be prepared to see them build the sweetest friendship ever! Lydia met a 4 year old during her afternoon with us and there was a natural ease in their connection. She let him walk her and listened to him give commands. A cat-free home would be best for Lydia, when she met our house cat she showed a distance level of interest that could lead to chasing and we know how cats feel about that game. Lydia is a good face with a promise of a good time! If you have any questions about Lydia, email ElizabethBower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org If you are ready to make the first move- https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/682b80e110856ddd2b051ce6 We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Neo is a snuggly goofball looking for his forever home. We think Neo would make a wonderful family dog, with his half-couch-potato, half-zoomie-machine personality. Here at the rescue, Neo is a fan favorite, our behavior team adores him for his people-focused personality and his sweetness toward the other dogs. We believe Neo to be half pittie, half lab, and he’s the best of both worlds! Neo is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Neo currently weighs in at a lap-sized 64 pounds, and we estimate his age to be around 3 years old. Neo shows his age in his frosted face, but otherwise, you could never tell! This boy is happy, bouncy, and so loving! When we introduced him to other dogs he showed us his playful side, running around with a big ol’ smile on his face. Watch Neo here: https://youtu.be/PC_Tgwzlp28 My favorite thing was how easily he calmed down as the other dogs were settling in to smell around and take a break. Whenever he wasn’t playing, Im sure you can guess where he was, with the people, seeking out and sharing love. Neo is a vocal boy, who will carry on a conversation, talking to you. It’s not barking, but vocalizations. Neo is a complete goofball, capable of making anyone laugh. He rolls around and makes bug eyes at you, sticks his nose on the side of the couch to say hi, and has a never ending rotation of silly faces. He’s great with kids, and has spent time with kids as young as six. See him interact with kids for yourself in his video. Neo’s ideal home would have a yard for smelling-about and taking sunbaths in. A mellow friend, who knows a little play should always lead to a lot of rest, would be ideal. He is also fulfilled by his affection for people, so being an only dog sounds like the good life too! The one no-go for Neo is kitties. Not everyone is a cat-person and that is okay! New was so interested in out house cat Tom that we are sure he would try to start a fun game of chase and that isn’t fun for anyone, though Neo might disagree. Neo is a loving and loyal companion to all looking for his fur-ever family. If you are in search of a classic good-boy, you have found him! If you have any questions about Neo or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! You just simply HAVE to meet Momo! A small boy who tips the scales at just under 30 pounds. His tiny body was built for speed— he is an absolute rockstar at fetch, always bringing it back too! He enjoys all the great things in life, companionship, sunbathing, affection, and of course a good ole nap. Momo is a playful, goofy Bull Terrier mix—or at least that’s our best guess! What we do know for sure is that he’s 100% joy and will bring endless smiles to your home. Watch him in action right here! https://youtu.be/leBGp3y_5MA?si=gJsP4rie60eDkyES Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he’s an expert in self-entertainment. But don’t let his playful energy fool you—once he’s had his fun, he’s all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes. Currently living with a family, Momo would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle his playful side. Momo is living with a pack full of many different dogs varying in age and size. Momo makes his fosters home add up to 4 doggos! He is small dog friendly, and his best friend is a teeny tiny chihuahua! Momo is a smarty pants— He already knows commands like “sit” and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. Speaking of exploring, Momo makes a great shotgun rider. So the possibilities are limitless on where you will go together! He often joins his foster family for trips to the local dog park, where he is able to show off his fetch skills in front of everyone. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-tossing, and heartwarming companion, Momo is ready to bring his big personality to your home. His foster family told us that he is just so sweet and it took no time for them to fall in love with him. So, what do you say, are you ready to experience the Momo lovin’ life? Oh my heck this little girl is an absolute sweetheart and is a legit baby seal!! The only difference between an actual baby seal and this sweetie is that you can actually take this one home! Lola has the sweetest face and the sweetest heart. Everything about her is adorable and if her sweet little pittie face doesn’t make you head over heels for her then her personality will. My favorite thing about her are those big brown eyes of hers and the way she looks at people, even those she just met. She quite literally looks into your soul. I’m obsessed with her and would take her home in a heartbeat! She’s the sweetest thing! She will sit at your feet, cuddle up, sit in your lap and be as close as possible. When you adopt Lola and bring her home, you’ll find that you have yourself a true snuggly bestie that will love you no matter what. Fall in love with Lola here: https://youtu.be/sMW2AEzGc3E?si=WlEv_pHarLHqr71v Lola Lovebug is a dainty little Pittie/Staffie mix with these big brown “pet me” eyes. She has an adorable habit of perching her chin on the edge of your couch, the corner of your bed, or even on your knees, and gazing up at you until you pay attention to her. She really does feel more like a human child than a dog, she’s a total “fur baby,” “doghter,” “baby dog” type of pup. She’s estimated to be around 7 years old but don't let that fool you, age is just a number and she's got a young heart and grown up manners. She's in her golden glow era. Lola is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We believe Lola would make a great dog for a family with kids too. She has been around kids ages 2, 4, 6, 11, and 13 and her loving and gentle approach with adults is the exact same in her interactions with kids. She was a total sweetheart with them, took treats so gently from them, and was even listening to them when they would give her a command. Lola was not bothered by all the jumping, screaming, random movements, grabbing hands, running around, and all of the chaos that comes with being in a room with young kids. If you have kids, then you know exactly what we're talking about LOL. Even in those high energy moments with kids running around and when you're rushing to gather all the supplies/backpacks/school lunches, etc. the last thing anyone is going to want is a dog that is going to add to that mayhem. With Lola, you're not going to have to worry about that whatsoever. She is so relaxed in those moments and just watches everything going on around her or she's just walking around wagging her tail. It does not phase her one bit! She's such a good girl and she didn't even try to play with any of the kids toys! Which if you have kids, then you know that's a meltdown waiting to happen if a dog messes with their favorite toy LOL. She never once jumped on them for affection nor was she over the top with her affection towards the kids. She was would give gentle kisses and would lean into them for affection in the sweetest most gentle way. Lola's easy going laid back approach in life is perfect for a family with kids. Lola is dog friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs that have the same cool, calm, and collected tempo as her. She's not a playful lady with other dogs and prefers to just hangout and enjoy those relaxing moments with other dogs. Lola is a polite little lady passing other dogs on walks and is easy to tandem walk with other dogs too that she knows. Her current foster lives in an apartment and Lola's foster has said that she doesn't mind passing by other dogs walking down those tighter apartment hallways. In a home, she would do best with a male doggy sibling that is calm like her, enjoys lounging around, and will be a gentleman with her and allow her time to feel comfortable with him. Lola would also thrive as your one and only fur baby as well and we believe she might be happiest being the center of your attention. She does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable nor does she need another dog in the home to fulfill her energy needs. Lola loves everyone she meets and bonds very quickly with people and she is the definition of a house hippo LOL. She would also do best in a home with out any kitty friends as well. Lola is also ah-may-zing, amazing on leash. This girl showed us great leash manners here at the rescue, and enjoys frequent walks about the neighborhood with her foster mom. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets on walks too, and enjoys the extra attention that new friends always seem to bring. She would love to go on little adventures with you, errands and park days and patio restaurant dates. She’s great in the car too, and sits up in the backseat looking out the window. Lola is a smart gal and is incredibly trainable, she already knows some basic commands such as “sit,” and “lay down,” and her foster mom says all the time that she is a joy to teach new things too and is so eager to please. She is crate trained and potty trained and has wonderful house manners too, never getting into things she's not suppose to be. If your life is more chill than adventurous, Lola is an expert snuggler, and really thoroughly enjoys couch naps and lazy mornings in bed. She’ll happily accompany you for a full Saturday movie marathon, and snuggle all day if you want. She has a perfectly balanced energy, leaning more towards couch potato type with a love for neighborhood walks and a few games of fetch her and there. Also, bonus points, if you’re not a fan of dogs on the couch or the bed- that’s okay too, Lola’s favorite spots to nap are in her crate, outside, or in a puddle of sunlight indoors. She loves to sunbathe, and she is perfectly content in her kennel. Lola does have a playful side to her too and loves those sweet playful moments with her people. She loves to play with toys, especially those soft and squishy squeaky toys, hard chews, or tennis balls. She’ll play fetch with you, with frequent breaks to roll in the grass or sniff a new spot. Lola is a once-in-a-lifetime perfect pup, and ready for her forever home. She is so cool, calm and collected on leash, and so friendly and well behaved. She’s not too picky about your home - she just wants your love. Lola enjoys being outside and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play fetch on occasion and soak in the sun. She also would do great in an apartment as well. We know this because as stated before she is currently fostered in an apartment on the first floor and has no issues with the apartment life. We are willing to test the lovely Lola with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Speckles is the perfect mix of homebody and playful. She loves being rocked like a little baby, and she also loves to run around and play with her people in the yard! Speckles is dog friendly, cat friendly and her small size makes for the perfect snuggle fest. She is wonderful on a leash and overall just wants love more than anything in the whole wide world! Can you give Speckles the loving home she deserves? Watch Speckles strutting her stuff here: https://youtu.be/znghK906vvo?si=Ik4xs1kzBFH92pA8 Her foster let us know that Speckles is the friendliest dog she has ever met! Wow! She met Speckles as just a little skinny puppy, looking for scraps of food in a neighbors yard. She sat with Speckles and passed her a plate of dog food, but Speckles jumped straight into her lap and smoothered her with kisses instead! This is pretty much how Speckles greets everyone she meets, so be prepared for lots of sloppy wet kisses coming your way-- you wont be disappointed! If Speckles catches you looking at her, she will roll over for belly pats that you just cant resist! She LOVES to snuggle and has never been known to turn down a kiss or a cuddle! Speckles is very dog friendly and did great meeting all of the dogs we introduced her too. She did so well right off the bat meeting new dogs on leash and off. Not only did she do great with all the dogs, but she also showed us that she knows how to share the love and shares affection with other dogs. She is a little shy at first when meeting new dogs for the first time but it doesn't take her long to open up and want to play. She has a gentle play still and does best with other gentle and dainty dogs like her self. Speckles is small dog friendly too is currently fostered with one. They are besties! Also, here's a bonus...Speckles is cat friendly too and did great meeting our house cat biggie! She wasn't phased by the typical things that cats do like jumping on counters, playing with their flirt pole toys, meowing, all the things. She would sniff and walk away. We do not know if Speckles has ever lived in a home with a cat before nor can we guarantee that things won't change once in a home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions, Speckles has the potential to live with a kitty friend in the home. Speckles loves the car, jumping in and heading straight for the window. She eventually falls asleep in her seat, which is just so sweet! She rides easily and calmly, although she may try to sneak in a kiss or two here and there. Speckles is learning fetch, she zooms to the ball, but hasnt quite figured out how to give it back yet. Silly Speckles! Speckles loves toys and she enjoys having something to chew on, so a basket full of rubber bones and toys would be ideal to have on hand with this one! A kong or other enrichment toy could be really beneficial to keep her entertained and out of trouble! She goes on daily walks in her foster home and does great! Walks or daily excersize will be important for her to get her energy out. Speckles does well in new places and going out in public. We could see her running errands or going to the park with her new family! Speckles would love a big backyard and an active family. She is a smart little lady, eager to please, and treat motivated. You know what that means....any additional training you want to do with Speckles will be fun and enjoyable for you both as well as great bonding time. We have not seen Speckles with kids just yet but based off what we already know and the fact that she is a gentle and goofy girl, we do see her being a great family dog. We are happy to test Speckles with any age group you may need! Just say the word! Speckles is the warmest, and sweetest dog! She adores everyone and would be a fantastic companion whether you are cuddling at home on the couch or out on an adventure! She would be a fantastic addition to her new family. Adopt Speckles today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6802a7609c7f3b5d5b084a9d Questions?
