Story
Buster Brown is an almost 3 year old Staff Terrier mix. He does great in his crate during the day and at night. He doesn’t make a peep until alarms start going off in the morning. He has had no accidents in the house as of late. He loves to play but isn’t annoying about it and is also very content to hang out and lay around the majority of the time. He doesn’t bark much at all even with the resident annoying dogs that bark at anything and everything. He went for a ride for school pick up and was an easy rider in the back, waiting patiently and quietly in the car. We think no cats, unless someone really wants to work with him, he can forgot about the cat just fine but if he sees her he is annoyingly interested even after a few claws to the nose. He’s grabbed a few of the kids stuffed animals but will immediately drop them and give the sorry eyes when you tell him “NO”. He can be a little jumpy and mouthy when excited but is working on that. Buster Brown is good with kids and other dogs and will be a great family dog. He’s got a pretty perfect energy level. He knows “sit” and “shake”. Story
Hi, I’m Gaspar, I am around 1 year old, and I like to party. More on this later, but for now, here are some equally great things about me: · Crate trained (100%) and sleep through the night · House trained (99%) · Already know “sit” and "wait" · Walk pretty, pretty good on a leash for my age/experience level, if I do say so myself. The humans use something called a “transitional leash” to help me not pull too hard. · Not a mean bone in my body. The other week, during my “Cat Test,™” I was booped in the face, and do you know what I did? Turned the other cheek. · Only cry in cases of serious FOMO · Nose freckles make up a 100% accurate map of the globe if you look long enough · Love to cuddle in traditional and non-traditional positions · Like to watch pro wrestling; my favorite is the “Texas Tornado” Kerry Von Erich. He is me. .Generally bring a joy not easily replicated to all beings. Now, back to the partying…I’ve heard the humans describe me as being a “high energy dog.” I don’t fully understand what they mean by this, because their ways are quite odd, but I can do my best to interpret. Here are my confessions: I love to weave in-between the moving legs of people and other dogs. The fastest way from point A to point B is a straight line, so I tend to just run straight through things. I love action, and will need you to help teach me what types of action I can participate in. Small children and non-dog friendly cats probably won’t enjoy my kind of party. I know I can improve on these things, with time, if they are not your style or you have more preferred methods of party. That’s why I need the right human(s). A strong “dog person” who will give me a real chance. I’m worth it—and I’m so ready to be your friend. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt.
