Story
Meet Sugar! Sugar is estimated to be a 10-year-old, Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was brought to us as a stray, very emaciated with multiple mammary tumors. So far, we have done one surgery to remove the largest one and she is scheduled to get the remaining few removed in November. Despite the odds, she is still a very sweet, loving, and playful baby. Sugar needs a great fur-ever home in which she can comfortably and safely recover. If you're interested in giving this sweet girl a home, please reach out to us at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com!

Story
Senior pup Medusa is a barrel of a sweetheart! She is loving and affectionate to every person and child that she meets. Curling up on the couch with her family watching TV is her favorite place to be. When Medusa goes outside she takes a deep breath as if appreciating all the fresh air and sunshine. Medusa is an older gal, 12 years old Estimated DOB 8/11/2011), approximately 50lbs,and a medium sized, stout, gal. We would love to find a lifetime foster or adopter to let her live out the rest of her days. She does need to be the only dog in the home. Medusa is truly a great one that would make a wonderful and loving companion. Meet her today: www.dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org ##660515##

Story
Tink Tink loves people and attention. She is very food motivated and would be easily trained.  Tink Tink is special in that she really loves men, but don't worry ladies, she still wants all the affection you and kids (older she tends to jump) have to offer.  She definitely does not want any cats in the household to share her attention.  We are listing her as dog selective (interested in them) because she is not truly socialised with dogs,  but could respond well to training and patience. She is crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. We estimate she was born in early 2016 and is med/large at 45-50 lbs. Tink Tink is a strong girl that doesn't know her size, so someone who can handle and direct her wiggly energy would be ideal. This big ol' lovebug has been waiting a long time to be part of a family.  Tink Tink would love a foster or forever home. Meet this wiggle bottom today: dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org ##660285##

Story
Introducing Desi! Desi, a 2 year old Pittie/Lab mix. was picked up as a stray in June. She was in rough shape: skinny, bad skin and ears. Desi is a survivor for sure. On July 13th she had 8 beautiful puppies in the shelter. A few days later, Desi and her littles went to a loving foster home. Shelters are no place for a momma dog and puppies. The puppies have been weaned and moved to multiple foster homes. They will up for adoption in a few weeks. Now the focus turns to getting sweet Desi healthy. She is ready to be treated like a queen in a foster, foster to adopt or forever home. Desi is scheduled for vaccines and spay in early September. She is currently fostered with 3 dogs her size and does well with all. She is a love bug and will make a terrific addition to a lucky family. If interested, submit an application (foster or adoption). ##2161223##

Story
Rosie is 4 years old. We rescued her from Fulton county animal shelter. She came from a breeder. She is heartworm positive and has received her two injections this past July 24’. Her 6 month recheck will be in late December. She is also hypoallergenic. We adopted her because of her playful yet protective nature towards kids (as we are a family). Rosie has a heart shaped birth mark on her leg. She is truly a special girl. Loving, cuddly, protective, and such a gentle soul. She needs more proper training, vet care, and preventative treatment. We do not have the resources and financial support to continue treating Rosie. The ideal adopter would be someone who is willing to give her alllll the cuddles she needs, afford the vet care, take her for car rides (she loves those), and encourage her. She deserves a second chance.
