Story
Hello world, I'm Keenland. I want to cut right to the chase, I've had my fair share of ups and downs, spending a lot of time in an old shelter all alone, but things have begun to look brighter after being rescued! I am 4 years old and really hoping my family will find me one day soon. I promise I am incredibly well behaved, I love following my commands, and I've been through a few training programs that have passed me with flying colors! After what I've been through, I haven't been one who's very KEEN on other dogs... BUT I absolutely adore humans of all shapes and sizes! FOLLOW @BraveheartBulliezRescue on Instagram and Facebook

Story
Meet handsome Porter! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 8/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Porter is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Porter, and they describe him as very friendly and easy to walk! He is curious and attentive to the people around him. Porter is still quite young, so he's looking for an active family/person who will have time to commit to him. Porter is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 55 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet this very good boy in run 81; his ID # is 661490. Story
This beautiful lady is Leta! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 9/3, and no one has come to reclaim her. We're hoping Leta finds a new, better forever home than her previous one. We suspect she was used for breeding; it's clear she's had many litters of puppies. The volunteers describe Leta as super sweet, but a bit shy. She sits nicely for treats. If you have a soft spot for the underdogs, and those who tend to be overlooked in a crowded shelter, please come meet Leta. Leta is approximately 4 years old, and she weighs 42 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Leta did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care, she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. Leta is waiting patiently in run 22; her ID # is 661611. Story
Please contact Tammy for more information about this pet.Easy-going family manHector is a mature gentleman who is pretty low-key but still enjoys romps around the yard and most definitely cuddles. Hector is currently in home boarding as we continue to search for his forever home. His caretaker says he's charming and she loves having him around.  Hector was a county shelter dog adopted by someone nearby. Despite being found roaming and returned to his adopter many times, Hector's resilience shone through. The last time he was loose, he walked himself to the shelter and asked to come in. We can do better for Hector and must make it happen. We have been working on Hector's home for over a year now! It's up to us to give this guy a better ending! Hector is so sweet and deserving. He's selective with dog friends, but we are 100% willing to do meet & greets to assess compatibility and coach you through a happily ever after. Your role in Hector's journey is crucial, and we believe it's simply a matter of Hector's story reaching the right person at the right time!  Age: 8 years   Weight: 75 lbs Temperament: Gets along with all adults, kids and some dogs Training: House and crate-trained, knows some commands. Vetting: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention.   For questions, please email rmaan95@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. September 13, 2024, 12:18 pm

Story
Meet Keeley Jones! Keeley’s a sweet, affectionate cutie who loves her people, sticks (the bigger the better!), and zooming around the backyard. We fostered and adopted Keeley from Lifeline, where we were told she was cat-friendly. Turns out, she’s WAY too cat-friendly, and she sits at the top of our stairs hunting our long-time rescue kitties who will no longer come out of the unfinished basement. We were also told she was 2 years old, but we’re pretty sure she is closer to one. She plays a little too much and too rough for our other smaller, somewhat grouchy, couch potato rescue dog. Keeley would LOVE to go to a home with another dog her size or bigger who loves to chase and wrestle. We think she would also make a very happy only pet. Keeley is house trained, sleeps through the night, knows sit; and is highly food-motivated. We think she would be easy to teach other tricks. She walks nicely on the leash and is spayed, chipped, and utd on shots.
