Jodeci is house trained. Obeys basic commands and likes to watch tv on couch. Is excited when you get home and likes to take walks. Groomed every other week. Not able to take her back and forth with me out of state and friends are no longer able to keep her. I barely see her since we moved and she deserves love and attention.

Story
This handsome lowrider is Bart! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/25, and no one has come to reclaim him. Bart is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Bart as friendly and inquisitive. He loves to sniff around and explore. Bart is extremely food motivated and he'll work for them! He does get super excited when they're offered to him and he needs some work on taking them gently. He does seem to have a bit of a head tilt, so it may be something to have looked at by your veterinarian. Bart is approximately 4 years old, and he weighs 47 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Bart in run 60; his ID # is 5861. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

He was found as a stray, but you'd never guess it by how quickly he's adapted to the comforts of indoor life. Moo has mastered the art of being calm and respectful, both inside the home and out. Whether it’s taking a leisurely stroll, where he walks beautifully on a leash, or simply hanging out at home, this boy is a breeze to have around. Moo is incredibly polite with other dogs, though he tends to get along better with females. He’s quiet in his crate, making him a great fit for a variety of living situations, and his gentle nature around humans will melt your heart. Despite his limited exposure to life indoors, Moo is catching on quickly, showing how smart and eager he is to learn. If you're searching for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who is ready to be part of your family, Moo is the one. He’s waiting to bring his calm and loving energy into a home that will give him the care and affection he deserves!

Story
Penny is a two-year-old, 43-pound pittie mix that was found when we were looking for another dog just like her that we lost. When we found her she was injured and limping, so we cleared her with the shelter and then took her to our vet. She was frightened at first but has thrived in the foster home and they say that she is the sweetest dog they have fostered, and ticks all the boxes for what a family or individual would look for in this breed. Penny is sweet, smart, loving, house and crate trained, great with dogs big and small and is a chill dog, who is happy to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. If you want to foster or adopt Penny, Please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply. ##2213306##
