Story
Mamba is a male 5 year old Staffordshire mix, whose personality and big smile are irresistibly charming! He is one of those delightful big-headed “chonky” dogs that you can’t help but fall in love with! One of Mamba’s favorite pastimes is playing with toys. And watch out for cuteness overload as he rolls over, kicking his legs in pure joy whenever he finds a toy that he loves! He is also a smart boy, where he has learned tricks like Sit and Shake. Plus, he is eager to learn even more in his new forever home. Mamba adores his time in the fenced-in park, where he enjoys exploring all of the interesting scents around him. However, he does seem to be too interested in cats, so a home without them may be the best fit for him. Overall, Mamba brings so much joy to those around him, whether he is trotting along beside you, playing with a fuzzy toy, or snuggled up on the couch by your side. So be sure to meet Mamba, and you might just meet your perfect furry friend! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Clementine is a quiet, thoughtful girl who, once she gets to know you, will smooch and happily show you her tricks. She is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help build her confidence and understand she is a bit shy when meeting new people. She loves to run around the fenced yard here at NCHS and based on her zooming speed, you'd think she was part Greyhound! This little lady finds small children a bit intimidating and would prefer a family with adults or older children. She would love another confident pup to play with though. If you think you have the perfect home for sweet Clementine, fill out an application today!

Jodeci is house trained. Obeys basic commands and likes to watch tv on couch. Is excited when you get home and likes to take walks. Groomed every other week. Not able to take her back and forth with me out of state and friends are no longer able to keep her. I barely see her since we moved and she deserves love and attention.

Story
This handsome lowrider is Bart! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/25, and no one has come to reclaim him. Bart is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Bart as friendly and inquisitive. He loves to sniff around and explore. Bart is extremely food motivated and he'll work for them! He does get super excited when they're offered to him and he needs some work on taking them gently. He does seem to have a bit of a head tilt, so it may be something to have looked at by your veterinarian. Bart is approximately 4 years old, and he weighs 47 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Bart in run 60; his ID # is 5861. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Meet Reece!!! This sweet lab/staffie mix is approximately 2 1/2 yrs old and a big bundle of love and fun! Sadly, Reece was in the local county shelter where he stayed for 8 months, and ended up on the euthanasia list. That is so hard to comprehend...he is still very puppy acting and would do well with basic obedience training and a wonderful family to love. He is crate trained and house trained, and current on all vaccines. He is neutered and heartworm negative. Oh, did we mention he loves to play fetch?! Get your adoption app in on this great guy, he's a true gem! Adoption includes 6 free training sessions with Rosemary Reese, if in or near Coweta County. Please visit our website at www.heartsnhomesrescue.org to apply.
