Story
George was found abandoned in our neighborhood in October of last year. Originally we had an adopter lined up but unfortunately George did not take to him and would lunge/ snap at his hand when he would try to put on the leash, so we ended up taking George back into our home. We have been working on training with him and he knows commands including sit, stay, and come. When he is paying attention he does a great job. Unfortunately, George was involved in an incident where he disconnected from his leash on a walk and attacked another dog, unprovoked. Given his seemingly worsening behaviors we are coming to the conclusion we cannot keep him in our home safely. We have 2 other dogs that he does well with, but I would not feel safe introducing him to any new dogs. He needs a home where he is the only dog and with owner(s) who will take the time he needs to gain his trust. He is the sweetest pup to people he knows and trusts but is still very fearful despite training.

Story
Luna was found by a friend of mine in Delray about 5 years ago. She took her to Peggy Adams and Luna was there for about a week until I was able to go and visit her. After meeting her one time I knew I wanted to bring her home. I went back a day later and took her home with me. She has been the most loving dog. She is like my child she needs kisses and hugs, belly rubs and all the affection one can give. She is house trained she can sit, lay down and stay. She loves to go on long walks and be outside. Most of all she loves to be around her human. I got pregnant 2 years ago and now have a toddler running around I am a single mother and I also work full time. I have thought long and hard about this decision and think it is in Lunas best interest to be in a home where she can be provided more love than what I can offer now.

Story
Lia is a super sweet dog in foster care, ready for her forever home! 🏡She is around 3 years old, weighs around 45 pounds (medium sized), very low energy when she is inside - a great companion. She is potty trained and can be left alone for a few hours roaming freely- she won’t chew on anything or go potty inside. She loves her plushies, playing fetch, enjoys sunbathing and riding in the car. She loves going for walks, and is very observant. Her number one enemies are squirrels 😂🐿️. She enjoys being in the backyard but she doesn’t need one as long as she goes on short walks to go potty! Lia is super sweet with humans but is dog selective and doesn’t like cats. A home where she is the only pet would be best for her. She is already dewormed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed and ready for her forever home! 🏡🚀 $250 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, bloodwork, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. Story
There must be one big hearted person out there who is looking to do a beautiful thing for a beautiful, dear, gentle soul, and love and care for him in his senior years ahead. Even after waiting 7 years for his forever family, Tyson remains very warm, friendly, and sweet. He is a mellow, easy going gentleman, who is a delight to be with. Tyson loves to go for walks and mostly just wants to hang out with his person, giving and receiving lots of love and affection. He is so appreciative of the attention he receives, it simply warms the heart.             Tyson is about 12 years old and about 70 pounds. He is calm and well mannered, and will make a great companion to keep you company throughout the day and on walks. He gets along with other dogs, females more so than males, but is not interested in being a playmate. Won’t you consider opening your heart and home to this truly wonderful and well-deserving senior?  If so, please put in an application today. Please watch the video at the end of the photos to see Tyson enjoying and appreciating his time with our staff and volunteers.  April 18, 2025, 5:57 pm
