Story
Our puppies had puppies...unplanned. So we have to rehome 2 female puppies. They are 9 weeks old. We have both the parents in our home. The puppies are very strong, healthy, playful and SMART! They are active and love human interaction. Looking for their new homes to have loving and attentive pet parents since we have spoiled and doted on them. They are wonderful little puppies.

Story
**SPECIAL NEEDS - Blind, Hearing Impaired, Neurologically Impaired but no actual medical needed for her-- Needs Local Adopter ** Mila was found in a ditch at only 5 weeks old by a good samaritan and taken to the shelter in SC. It was very clear that something was wrong as she was not able to move and was crying from pain. We immediately pulled her and had her rushed to the ER where she was treated for dehydration and parasite infestation. It became evident that there was something wrong neurologically with Mila and we were told she may not survive. Mila is a little walking miracle and today, at 3 years old, she is doing amazing. She was seen by our neurologist who confirmed that she is blind in one eye and extremely visually impaired in the other and is hearing impaired. She also has some damage to the back right side of her cerebellum which keeps her a little off balance. The good news is that she has a completely functional and good quality of life. She is the happiest little girl who prances around the house and loves to be outdoors in the sun. She gets excited when other dogs come around and she likes to snuggle with her humans and canine siblings. While she is not able to play fetch, go hiking or for walks like a normal dog, she does enjoy marching aimlessly around a fenced in yard with the sun in her face. She can live with anyone and anything as she is not a threat to any living being. She can be with babies, kids, dogs, cats, guinea pigs.... any animal in the world. She is able to go up the stairs but cannot go back down so she does need to be carried if she is to use stairs. She adapts super quick to new environments and finds her away around with no problems. She really is an exceptional little girl who just needs a family to give her a chance. She is very sweet and fun to be around. She has been looking for a home for 3 years and deserves to finally have a family to call her own. Story
Meet Tulip, the sweetest girl with a heart full of love! At 2.5 years old and around 40 pounds, she has the prettiest brindle coat! She is so ready to find her forever home. Just look at her smile—it perfectly captures the joy and affection she’s eager to share! Tulip adores people, including older kids, and is even fond of cats—though she sometimes gets a little too excited around them at first because she just wants to play. She's a cuddlebug who loves belly rubs and being near her humans. Some of her favorite activities include tug-of-war (when her ropes survive!), fetch, and chewing on toys. Tulip already knows several commands, including “sit,” “down,” “up,” and “come." This sweet girl is both house and crate trained. With her love for treats, she’s highly motivated and will thrive with continued training. Tulip enjoys her walks, and needs some guidance in managing her excitement when seeing other dogs, as well as learning to walk on a loose leash instead of pulling. She’s not food aggressive, but will happily snatch your food if you're not paying attention lol! She also tends to jump when greeting people, so a home without children under 12 is a must as she can knock a younger kid over. Though Tulip loves kitties, her playful nature can be overwhelming at first, so she'll need some supervision and time to adjust. When it comes to other dogs, she’s still figuring out how to interact and can get overly excited, so more socialization will be important. We’re requiring that Tulip go to a home with a fenced yard or at least an active household, with someone experienced with bully breeds. Her future family must be committed to continuing with her training. With the right guidance, Tulip will be an incredible, loving companion for the perfect person or family! DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake. ***TULIP IS FOSTERED NEAR CLEVELAND, OHIO, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).  Our adoption fee is $250 plus health certificate and transport if adopting out of state (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip & lifetime registration, spay/neuter, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport if adopting from out of state. Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi there! My name is Bruiser, and I am 4 and a half years old. I am a little on the small side for my age and breed. I am a playful and happy man, and enjoy leisurely walks, laying in the grass, and snuggle sessions. The vet has discovered that I have a heart murmur, so keeping calm is my biggest goal...and challenge. I don't let it get me down, I am living a joyful life. I walk well on the leash and know my basic commands, like "sit". When outside, I like rolling around in the cool grass. I DO NOT like cats. Do you like long walks and classical music too?! Come meet me at the Humane Society of Charles County MD today!

Story
Meet Honey! An estimated 4 year old sweetheart! Honey came to us a lost dog that no one claimed. Now she is looking for a new loving Furver home! Honey has a fun and sweet personality. She really appreciates the little things in life! She is very smart and already knows some commands like "sit" and "stay. She has been on walks with other dogs and done well. You know she is ready to listen and focused when one of her ears is up. Honey likes to run around a play, especially when she gets the zoomies but she is not overly active. She loves her plush squeaky toys. She has a laid back demeanor and walks well on the leash, and loves treats. If you would like to have sweet Honey as your new best friend, come meet her at the Humane Society of Charles County MD today!
