Message for details:This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at SDCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number. How this pet arrived: Floppy was brought in by a our Humane Law Enforcement. Floppy has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Maybe that home could be your home?? Why Floppy might be the one for you:Floppy is the embodiment of friendliness, always eager to greet everyone with a wagging tail. Floppy would do best in a home with no other pets. Floppy is best in a calm and consistent environment. Chaos and lots of people around are not his thing. Give him a yard for playing with his toys and/or lots of walks through his quiet neighborhood and Floppy is happiest. Floppy's love for treats makes him a quick learner for new tricks and manners. His friendly nature and eagerness to learn make him a wonderful companion. Floppy even enjoyed a special spa day with famous groomer Gabriel Feitosa and was a superstar in the bathtub! Want to learn more? Reach out to the email address listed above! He hopes that he will go home with you. This shelter stuff is OK, but a home is where he wants to be. Might that be your home? Story
Trixie is a wonderful dog who has waited patiently for her forever home!! She has great tenacity and strength which helped her overcome despair while pregnant and abandoned on the streets; FHSTJ rescued her in 2022. Trixie would thrive in a home where she has a dog companion who can match her energy level and playfulness. Having a canine buddy her size can provide her with companionship and plenty of opportunities for fun and exercise. Trixie is a Staffordshire bull terrier, around 5 years of age, spayed and fully vaccinated. Staffies are typically friendly, sociable, good-natured dogs—despite their muscular appearance. They often love being around people and can make great family pets. Staffy dogs can be excellent with children but proper training is encouraged. Trixie has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with the affection and attention she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Story
DOG FRIENDLY POCKET PITTIE ALERT Beckham is one super cool little dude. Weighing a whopping 42lbs this sexy beast has every reason to fear people yet seeks constant approval and affection. After being "kicked out" by a reported owner and running in fear and trying to survive for several months he was humanely trapped. While running, he was hit by a car, stayed aloof and ran from people. Once trapped it was immediately clear this sensitive soul just wanted to be loved and feel safe. We fixed his hip and started getting to know him. Sadly, some of his behavior indicates someone was not nice to him so he is afraid of things held by hand, terrified of mops and brooms and really struggles with men. Male volunteers love him and with a slow approach Beckham returns the favor. He will need someone to help him navigate his new world with patience, love and kindness. He is Dog social, absolutely silly, loves treats and is super easy to work with. He will entertain you daily with his poses, head tilts, silent woofs and eagerness to love you. ##2163346##

Story
Hello! My name is Kali, like California, and I am looking for my forever family. As my name entails, I am a true California girl- I love cruising in the car, and playing around in the sun. I am currently with a foster family who took me and my 7 puppies in from the shelter as we were at risk of being euthanized! Luckily, our fosters stepped up and have been taking great care of us while we each find our forever homes. Besides being a mom, I am a 6 year old girl who is ready to be loved and settle into a family as I have been through quite a lot in recent months. I am eager to meet my new humans so that we can play and go for drives as I am quite the passenger princess Does that sound like fun to you too? Then you know where to find me!
