Story
Sadie is 2-3 years old, about 35-40 lbs. She was abandoned and found her way to someone's yard and then sort of into resident's heart.  She was very skinny but has gained back her weight.  She is gentle, kind, sweet - fine with other big dogs.  We are glad to be able to help her out and match her up with a deserving family.  We've wormed her, bathed, vaccinated and will have vet tell us if she's been spayed...we see a scar...? *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Contacting Us If you have a question about adopting, giving up a dog, boarding, or volunteering, please visit the appropriate tabs on our  home page. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. In 2018, San Bernardino City Shelter sent out an urgent plea, asking rescues to pick up 3 malnourished underaged pups dropped off in a bucket smelling of gasoline. All pups had chemical burns most likely from the gas. Harry was the smallest of the three and suffered the most chemical burns of all and had to spend several nights at the emergency vet in an oxygen tank on IV fluids. He then had a seizure after being released so he was on watch for the next month and miraculously, Harry survived. He grew into an affectionate bundle of energy and silliness and was adopted at about 4 mos old and renamed Riley.  Six years later, Riley's family suffered a tragedy and could no longer keep him so he is with a foster family. He is a little shy and sad to be away from his family, but he loves playing with their 4 large breed dogs and is having a great time! He grew up around kids and other dogs of all sizes and does great with both.He prefers a home with at least one other friendly, playful dog to keep him company. Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com and/or fillout an application now: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 20, 2024, 11:41 am

Story
Hey there, I'm Thor! I ended up here after my human moved in with her dad. He wasn't too fond of dogs, so here I am, your friendly neighborhood superhero! I may not have a hammer, but I've got a heart full of love and a spirit full of courage. I'm a curious explorer, always sniffing out new adventures. I'm also smart, quickly learning new tricks and commands. My goofiness keeps everyone laughing and my loyalty is unwavering. I'm always up for a cuddle or a playful game. I'm brave, too, facing new challenges with a wagging tail. I'm not just looking for a home, I'm looking for a partner in crime, a best friend, a family. If you're looking for a loyal, brave, and funny companion, then look no further! Adopt me, and together, we'll conquer the world! I am fixed, chipped and I have all my shots. My adoption fee is $400.March 10, 2024, 11:55 pm

Story
We are a band of nine mighty pups, the last offspring of our adventurous mom who wandered in from the desert and met our dashing dad. She's quite the loyal lady now, never leaving his side – talk about true love! We're used to being in the limelight, handled by all sorts of humans. We know the drill with kids and other dogs. At first, we might be a bit reserved, like a celebrity dodging paparazzi, but give us a little time and we'll be all over you like a dog on a bone. We're professional cuddle bugs, with resumes packed with snuggles, tail wags, and face licks. Looking for a family dog? We're your furry ticket to unconditional love and endless entertainment. Adopt one of us, and prepare for a lifetime of laughs, loyalty, and wet nose boops!

Story
Lola is a rags-to-riches story, canine edition! Once a street-savvy survivor, this sweet girl was rescued just in time from life’s rough patches—literally, since she was living in bushes. After getting a VIP trip to the vet and saying goodbye to pyometra (who needs that kind of drama, right?), she’s now living her best indoor life. Lola’s discovered the pure bliss of doggy beds and cozy couches, and she’s decided: no more bush beds for her! She’s left the gritty street life behind and is now embracing her new identity as a pillow princess. Fixed, chipped, and fully pampered, she’s on the lookout for a forever home where she can continue her reign of comfort (and never look back at those scruffy bushes again)!

Story
GREYCIE Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Large (41-70 lbs.) | 10 months old/ Female-Spayed  | Accepting Applications for Adoption I am Greycie (please read my 411) I am 10 months young, still an eager to please puppy. I’m a fan of all dogs big and small…I have not been introduced to felines, so not sure how I would be around them. Children are my absolute favorite. I adjust my energy to the little ones and I’m gentle with them. I enjoy my daily walks with my Foster Dad and the pack members. There are so many new smells to explore. My current backyard is the coolest. I run zoomies and jump as high as I can over the walkway to show off my skills. I also have found my special spot on the couch where I nap while my Foster Fam watches the big screen in the living room. It has also been rumored I am potty trained, not one accident inside. Yay me!!! I am a polite girl and love my meals. My Foster Dad quickly found out that chicken was not my favorite, but beef definitely was!! (Where’s the Beef?) My Foster family has kept me very social by including me in daily errands and trips to the mall. My favorite stops are In-n-out for a pup patty and Starby’s for a pup cup. Other exciting news is my Foster fam has enrolled me in classes where I learn commands like sit, stay & focus. If you ask me, I think I’m gonna ace this!!! If you think I am your kinda gal and would complete your family, please go to website below and submit an adoption application. Someone will reach out to you and ask you some preliminary questions. A home check is also required. If a Lady named Eva contacts you, she really loves me and may ask a few more questions, please bear with her. She’s actually very nice. I am already spayed, weigh about 55 lbs, fully vaccinated, and microchipped plus a three month flea and tick treatment dose to keep unwanted friends off me (bonus)   Thanks in advance, Greycie Please visit our website if you would like to submit an adoption application.  Greycie's Adoption Donation Fee is $400.  Greycie  is spayed, current on all vaccinations has received a wellness exam, flea treatment, and is microchipped.
