Story
Apollo was a rescue when he was 11 months old. He was very curious when first adopted and had a lot of energy. He instantly became lovable and had a high sense of listening to commands. He has been on a strict dry protein dog food diet with treats for further training. He is mostly mute but will let out a low bark or whine when around new company (for attention. He loves attention). He is still not aware how big he is but he is super friendly to kids people and animals. He will cower if there are dogs larger than him, but he warms up quickly. Giving him the space he requires has been a challenge for me so I take him out 5-6 times a day. Sadly, I am relocating for my job and cannot take him with me. My heart’s desire is to find him a loving home with space to explore. Feel free to ask anything!

I am the perfect snuggle companion, and I love people! I was born with deformed front legs so I walk more on my wrists, but it certainly doesn't stop me from climbing into your lap and into your heart or playing tug of war with toys. I'm curious, smart, friendly, happy, goofy, and like to lie on your feet. Kiddie-sized pools are my favorite way to cool off! I would love a home where I can lounge about chewing a toy and be the queen of the castle along with my best doggie pal, Captain Wigglesworth. We're an inseparable odd couple. Where I go, he goes. Even though I can be a little bossy with him and I get sassy with toys, he doesn't mind. He just does his own thing. I'm not potty trained yet, but I can learn. Dog introductions are required because I can be selective on who I choose as a friend, which is why my bond with Wigs is so special. No matter what we title this dynamic duo, the key is that Janey and Wigs love being together and we can't bear to separate them. I would probably do great with agility since I have no idea how short I am.I have been through a lot of training. I'm a very quick learner. I am very well trained and know my commands - sit, down, wait, place, and I walk on the leash like a champ. All this knowledge and ability can make me feel like I am the boss so I need someone who is confident and able to take charge. I love people and I love other doggies! Mayday will assist with intros to ensure a good fit. Because I can be so bossy older children would work better.  I have a skin condition from very bad sunburns. No sunbathing for this babe! I need to wear sunblock & I have a special jacket to protect my skin. I'm also on a special diet for allergies. I've had back surgery, so I'm not allowed to jump on the furniture. You don't have to worry about furry furniture with me! I love to play, run around, and go for walks. I also love food puzzles. You'll never be bored with me around!I am a take charge kind of gal! Meet the triplets!! Lennox, Hendrix and Knox were from an accidental litter and were the 3 remaining pups that needed homes. We did not want them to get into the wrong hands so they came into rescue. The owner also agreed to get mom fixed so there won't be any more accidental litters.  All three boys are in a home with other dogs and cats. They are learning the doggie door and manners to be good boys. They will need homes that understand the breed and how energetic they are. They need active homes who have the time to train them, teach them, and nurture them.  Lennox has the double white ears. Hendrix has the one white and one black ear. Knox is the mainly black pittie with white.  They will be neutered on 1-31-25. Their adoption fee of $300 covers their neuter, DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine, microchip and dewormer.
