Story
Animal Profile: Nala  is a 12 week--old, St Bernard/Cattle Dog mix (best guess) who was being given away in a hospital parking lot, 2 nurses agreed to take her as the man threatened to put her down if someone did not take her. They reached out to our rescue partner for help. She is doing in her foster home in Texas, friendly with other dogs and cats, while waiting for her ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Nala is a 12-week-old Saint Bernard mix with a vibrant personality and a love for fun. She adores playing with toys and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Full of inquisitive energy, she enjoys exploring the garden and discovering new sights and smells. Despite her playful nature, Nala is also a cuddle bug—she loves to snuggle up in your lap and will happily fall asleep in your arms. She’s an excellent work companion, content to rest at your feet while you focus. Her potty training is coming along well, and she’s eager to keep learning. If you're looking for a sweet, fun-loving pup who will bring joy and comfort to your life, Nala is the perfect match! We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and large breed experience. Due to Nala's size potential we are not considering apartments for her at this time.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Animal Advocacy & Rescue, our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 02/03/2025 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.February 10, 2025, 3:51 pm

Hagrid is a big ol’ sweetheart and a true gentle giant at 100 pounds of love and sloppy kisses. With his mild and laid-back nature, he’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and loving dog. He’s about 5 years old and looks like a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix. This big boy enjoys following his favorite person around and being part of your day-to-day life. Hagrid seems to get along well with other dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-dog home or as a loyal solo companion.Hagrid would love to find his forever home in time for the holidays—are you ready to welcome this big bundle of love into your family?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 6, 2025, 9:10 pm
