Story
Meet Ramsey! Say hello to Ramsey! When we first met Ramsey, he was very cautious around people. However, with some fun training sessions, he has really started to come out of his shell and show us the goofy guy he is. Ramsey is a sensitive guy who responds well to clear guidance and patience. He loves playing with toys and enjoys a good game of fetch… even though he’s not totally good at it. Sometimes he’s just happy to relax with a chew toy by himself. This guy would do awesome in a home with people that love to go on hikes or even nice strolls around the neighborhood!Ramsey thrives on a consistent schedule or routine. He is not suitable for homes with children and can be selective with certain dogs. Making tremendous progress in his training, the ideal adopter will need to continue his training and provide him with the understanding and care that he needs. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Sky will be 3 in June, we got her from a family friend when she was a puppy. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle and have tummy rubs. She is house trained she will let you know when she needs to go potty. She had her first litter of puppies in December and mostly all her puppies have been rehome. I have 4 children the youngest is 3 Sky does really good with children. Im sad to have to let her go but due to work I wont have the time like I did to care for her. I would love for her to go to a caring family that will treat her well.

Story
In search of a new home for my Saint Bernard Mix, Nola. She is about a year old. She has a very playful and loving personality. When she gets to playing it can be difficult to get her to stop, although she tends to play roughly. She is mostly house trained, but needs a schedule. She does get restless quite quickly, and needs lots of playtime. She weighs about 75lbs and is on adult dog food.

Story
Nana is the mother of Sullivan, the 7-month puppy. Both were found to be strays. Nana weighs approximately 110 pounds and has a beautiful rough coat. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. She does have an extra long tongue which she was either born with or it was due to trauma sometime in her life. It does not affect her ability to eat or drink, she just has a very long tongue. She is approximately 2-3 years old, has a great disposition and is ready and looking forward to finding a wonderful new forever-home. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. Story
Miss Honeybun is a senior Saint Bernard that weighs approximately 95-100 pounds. She has had a hard life and has been used for breeding all her life until we rescued her. She is very sweet, loving and well behaved. After all she has been through, she still thinks people are wonderful humans. When you look into her eyes, they almost speak to you. She responds to most verbal words like a human. She is almost magical. Honeybun is looking for a home where someone will give her the love and attention she has never had. She is low energy and will just sit and let you pet her and love on her. She is good to other dogs that we have introduced to her. She is spayed and is recovering from bloat surgery. We have had her stomach tacked so she should never have to worry about bloating again. She does need her rabbi shot and which will be done prior to her leaving St. Cloud’s Rescue. She is heartworm negative and will be current on all vaccinations before she leaves St. Clouds. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. Story
Roscoe is much bigger in person than he looks in the photographs. He has a beautiful rough coat. He is perfect in confirmation and is breathtaking to look at. He is approximately 6 years old and weighs approximately 120 pounds. Roscoe came to us as an owner surrender because he prefers to dine on live chickens rather than to eat chicken dog food. To most of us that are reading this story, there would not be any discussion long term, we would have gotten rid of the chickens and not the dog. However, in today’s world that is not always the case. Rosco had been with the same family since he was a puppy. He can be very stubborn when he wants to be, has a mind of his own, but he has always been gentle and kind since we have had him. He does not enjoy having a bath and it will take 2-3 people to bathe him. That tells us many things. He has spent more of his life outside than inside. However, here at St. Cloud’s Rescue he is 100% a well-loved, well cared for gorgeous giant Saint Bernard. He is not yet neutered but will be later in June. Roscoe is house trained. We do not recommend him to go with a family with a young family under the age of five. Not because he is mean, but because he is too strong and could knock over children. He weighs app 120 pounds and should be around 140 pounds. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. Story
Meet Franklin! Franklin is a 8 year old, 95 pound, Anatolian Shepherd Mix. He was rescued in the nick of time from the euthanasia list in July 2022 and is ready for his forever home and a family of his own.We unfortunately know little of his past, as he was found as a stray, but he certainly does not act like a senior. Franklin is truly a fun-loving guy. He LOVES to play with other dogs and gets along with everyone, but can come off a little strong with his playful energy. He is a big goofball and does not have a mean bone in his body, but he would probably do best with older kids just due to his size. He is a very sweet guy and loves to scope out and curl up in the comfiest of spots. He is a big fan of toys, chews, and bones, but I recommend the tougher-duty ones, as he has been known to do a number on plush toys.Franklin is potty-trained and crate-trained. We crate him overnight and while we are not home, and he is great about going right into his crate when told. He does well on a leash. He has not gotten out much recently, but I am sure he would appreciate some more adventures. He has been around and done well with horses. Franklin still has so much love to give and is very deserving of the best forever home!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
