Wasssssssupppppppppppp!!! Yes, my name brings back memories of the 90's... when life was simple and people were weird..... I however, am NOT weird... well, don't look at my pics in the sunglasses, other than that I am NOT weird :) I am nice, and floofy and smart and sweeeetttttt. I came from the pound, apparently I had wandered through the summer of Texas, 109 degree weather :( So this is where you come into the picture.... I was found and brought to the rescue, and the rescue people LOVE ME... but I am looking for my one... true...love.... and am thinking that is YOU :) I am a hairy bloke, but not NEARLY as hairy as most of my friends, and I am BIG (109#) So I fulfill my breed standards, now I just have to find the right "breed" of human- the kind who will love and SPOIL me for the rest of my days! If you are part of that breed, then apply to adopt me into your fantabulous home! I am waiting............... ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Who says you can't find a purebred dog in rescue???? Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bubba! Bubba’s journey started on a terrifying note, but he’s ready to turn the page and find his forever family. This sweet boy was found running along a busy highway, exhausted and in poor shape. He was with another dog, who tragically didn’t make it. Thankfully, a kind couple kept Bubba safe until his foster could arrive. When Bubba was rescued, he was a rack of bones, covered in ticks and fleas, suffering from a nasty ear infection, and missing patches of hair. But despite all of this, Bubba has remained the sweetest soul with the goofiest personality. He’s still getting used to the good life and learning what it means to be loved. Before coming to us, Bubba had never even seen a leash, so he’s still working on his leash manners, but he’s making great progress! He’s kennel trained and does well in the house as long as he’s on a good schedule. Bubba is a big teddy bear who will rest his big ole head in your lap and let you pet him forever. He’s ready to leave his past behind and be cherished for the rest of his life. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Bubba might just be the perfect fit for you. Medical Notes: Microchipped Vaccinated Dewormed Maintained on monthly preventatives Neutered Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 9:59 pm

Story
She’s a very sweet dog who just wants to be loved! She’s very protective of our family. She’s sweet and tolerant with our children but not welcoming to outside people/kids coming into our home. A family with teenagers or older children would be a better fit. She needs a family who has more time to devote to her. She did well with obedience training & I believe will do very well with someone who can be consistent in working with her. She’s anxious during storms requiring medication. So living outside full time is really not an option for her. Unfortunately, with very small children, we don’t have the time she deserves to devote to her anymore. She needs and would love a family who can work with her and help her with her social needs. We have a cat that she gets along with. We had another dog when we adopted her and they got along great. Since that dog died, she has struggled socially.
