Story
Meet Bruno, our delightful 3.5-year-old friend who came to us as a stray. This charming 103-pound bundle of joy is on the lookout for a loving home, especially with folks who have experience with large dogs. It was clear from the get-go that this handsome guy was a great walking on a leash. Bruno has started some training here and will need a refresher once in the home! Bruno has already made some human pals during his time here, and it’s easy to see why—just check out his beautiful auburn coat! While he’s met a few doggy friends and seemed pretty indifferent, he definitely wants to say hello to his future roommates before heading home with you.We haven`t had a chance to see how he interacts with cats, as he hasn`t met any yet, but when it comes to kids, we recommend a home with children aged 12 and up since Bruno has a few quirks about sharing his toys.If you’ve fallen for this striking red-head like so many others, don’t hesitate! Give us a call today at 410-827-7178 or swing by during our open hours! We can’t wait to see Bruno find his forever home!

Story
Brandon is a 5 1/2 year old St, Bernard mix. He is a gentle giant. He is a little standoffish when meeting a new person(s). He is very affectionate once he knows you. He loves rubs and scratches. Brandon loves going for walks and checking out the many play yards here at the ranch. He is very mellow. He would thrive in any size family. He follows commands and is eager to please. He loves his treats and is very gentle when taking them. He doesn't like cats. He is one of the sweetest loving dogs. Brandon is eagerly waiting for his forever home. ##1533014##

Story
Meet Beethoven! This handsome boy came to PA to leave his old life behind and start fresh searching for a new family to call his own! Beethoven is a guesstimated 5yr old neutered male Saint Bernard mix weighing approximately 100 pounds (needs to gain weight) Beethoven loves people (big and small) and dogs however has not been cat tested. Beethoven has had a rough few months. Down south he was found with a bad injury to his paw (all healed now) he was neutered and treated for Heartworm. If surviving heartworm wasn’t hard enough he was diagnosed with IMHA last month and is fighting a good fight to get better. He’s currently on two medications and getting bloodwork completed weekly or as directed by his veterinarian. He is house and crate trained and up to date on current vaccines and preventatives. For now he will be patiently waiting for his new family in Dillsburg PA New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.           https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s/ See upcoming events below where PA Caring for K9’s will be with some of our adoptable dogs!
