Story
If you’ve ever wanted a dog who grows up to be part protector, part cuddle blanket, and part gentle household comedian… allow us to introduce these Saint Bernard mix puppies.Their story starts in Arkansas, where their sweet mama was found in a hoarding situation, doing her very best to care for her babies with little to no shelter. Despite the circumstances, she never stopped nurturing them. A dedicated rescue partner stepped in, brought the whole family to safety, and eventually transferred them to our care. From survival mode to spoiled mode — these puppies have only known love ever since. And it shows. They are confident without being pushy, playful without being wild, and affectionate in that full-body, lean-into-you way that Saint Bernard mixes are known for. They’re wonderfully motivated by food, toys, and praise — which means they are eager learners and will thrive in homes that want to include them in family life. Whether it’s learning basic manners, going on neighborhood walks, or mastering the art of “sit politely while the kids drop snacks,” these pups are ready. They love to romp and tumble, chasing each other with those oversized paws that promise a future of impressive size. But just as quickly, they’ll waddle over, plop down against you, and sigh like they’ve worked a full 9–5. They are the kind of dogs who will happily play in the yard with the kids and then curl up for movie night like a living, breathing weighted blanket. As large-breed adults, they’ll bring that steady, loyal presence families adore — the dog who watches over backyard adventures, greets everyone at the door like they’ve returned from war (even if you just checked the mail), and believes personal space is a myth created by people who don’t understand love. These puppies didn’t get the easiest start, but they carry none of that heaviness with them. What they carry instead are big hearts, soft eyes, and the kind of temperament that makes truly wonderful family companions. If you’re ready for a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and a very large shadow following you from room to room, one of these gentle giants-in-training might just be your perfect match.THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE!Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process! Story
Hi, I’m Everest and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me! Dog’s Name: Everest Location: Green Bay, WI Date of Birth: 03/06/2022 Gender: Everest Breed: St. Bernard Color: Dog's Weight: 106 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  All Cats  Kids?: All kids Training Leash Trained - walks loose leash Potty Trained - indicates need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents Car - Rides well in the car Meet Everest Everest is a wonderfully laid-back and loving girl who thrives on being close to her people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to spend time by your side, Everest may be the perfect match. She will happily follow you from room to room—even while you’re vacuuming—just to stay near the people she loves. Everest’s favorite place in the world is the couch, especially if she gets to share it with you. She absolutely loves being petted and will gladly soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. While some pups are obsessed with toys and bones, Everest is much more interested in companionship. For her, the best activity is simply relaxing next to her favorite humans. She is not crate trained and prefers not to be crated (unless you plan to join her in there! ), but the good news is that she does very well when left alone in the home. Everest is respectful of her space and doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t. At night, she’s perfectly content to curl up on the couch and sleep peacefully through the night. Everest can sometimes feel a little nervous in new situations and may grumble or growl briefly when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she’s safe. Outside, she may bark at unfamiliar sounds, but inside she’s a quiet and easygoing housemate who doesn’t spend time barking out the windows. During mealtimes, she is very polite and will calmly lay near the table. Everest would do well with a variety of families, including first-time giant breed owners. She doesn’t require another dog in the home but could live with other pets with proper introductions. While she currently enjoys having a fenced yard, she doesn’t necessarily require one as long as she gets regular outdoor time. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company on the couch and throughout your daily routine, Everest is ready to be your loyal shadow. Story
Hi this is Carnage we’re looking for a caring/loving home for our sweet Saint Bernard. He has a calm, loving temperament and is great with people. Like most Saint Bernards, he’s a big teddy bear who loves affection and being part of the family. He would do best in a home with space where he can stretch out and enjoy life with someone who appreciates this gentle large breed. I just want a family or someone that loves him just as much as we do i wish i had another option to keep him😕🥺

These pups are in Morton Grove, Illinois too!
