Story
We have had Golu for a year now. He turned 4 years old in May. His family at the time who got him as a puppy was looking to rehome him due to being out of the country often. Golu has been very challenging since day 1. We were told that he got along well with other animals which turned out to be completely false. We have cats and a Great Dane and Golu is very reactive to all of them. We have done dog training with him and even had a trainer come into our home to work with him. He is very protective over me and my kids and “jealous” of any attention any other pet or human gets. If I lived alone, Golu would be the perfect pet! I love him so much and have tried so hard to make this work. But our home is not a good home for him and it’s not fair to any of the animals in our home. He is good with my teenage kids but not with our 5 year old. He’s never bitten anyone but he does get upset when cries or runs around and yells. This is why I’m saying he needs to be the only pet with no kids. :)
