Story
Hagrid is a big ol’ sweetheart and a true gentle giant at 100 pounds of love and sloppy kisses. With his mild and laid-back nature, he’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and loving dog. He’s about 5 years old and looks like a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix. This big boy enjoys following his favorite person around and being part of your day-to-day life. Hagrid seems to get along well with other dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-dog home or as a loyal solo companion.Hagrid would love to find his forever home in time for the holidays—are you ready to welcome this big bundle of love into your family?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.January 14, 2025, 6:04 am

Heidi Foster/Home Needed – Albany, NY This gentle giant is Heidi. She is a beautiful 8yr old female Saint, now weighing a healthy 105lbs. Heidi first came to us as a stray, and she was very malnourished ☹ Now she loves to eat and she’s flourishing! She is just the sweetest girl. Everyone who meets her absolutely adores her 💗 Heidi loves to be loved….especially belly rubs, those are her favorite….but she would do best as the only dog in a quiet home. She is very good on a leash and loves car rides. Heidi is spayed, chipped and completely house broken. If you have the home and the heart for this big ole’ sweetheart, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below.
